I'm 80 years old back in my day I did my share of street racing I had a 49 Mercury lead slide 390 twin four barrel carb full race cam . THE GOOD OLD DAYS
That's sounds like one cool car. That is awesome
Awesome car
Awesome car
Those sleeves would come in handy even with sanding.
I never thought of that. I have some welding coming soon, so I will be using them for sure
Nice sleeper Impala...
Great job explaining what you're doing in the prep....looking forward to that rock crawler.

Love your channel man! You have the perfect personality for UA-cam .
I appreciate that!
Right on Hector, I love those old Impalas. I used to have a 62 four door with the 283 it had Hot Red Interior With lots of Chrome it was badass brother. Thanks for this video man brought back lots of memories, my wife and I got married and had that car 40 years ago. Still together to. Can't wait for the next one.
Thanks for sharing
4 doors means more LoL Love the sleeper. Damn sure like everything you Men are doing
😂👍
A friend of mine in HS had a 64 Impala SS. Another had a 62 Impala. Great cars but mine was a 64 Olds 442
I am a tin Indian fan with a big block. I had a 66 Pontiac 2+2 with a 421 HO, a 68 Firebird with the 350 big block, and now I have a 76 Trans Am with the factory Pontiac 455, 4 speed and a 2.73 posi.
I love them, Pontiacs myself. We had a 62 Catalina with a 389. I miss that car. I would like to find another one someday.
You painting Ol Blue for Roary put you on the MAP for great things ! Love the channel. Watch every video.
Awesome! Thank you!
Send it!
Can't wait to see the finished Chevy ever run Castle Rock in your day ? Like your explanations keep grinding 😊
I have not.
Aaron’s back at it again!!! 😂😂😂
😂
great as always lots of information
My grandma had a 1960 impala with 36k original miles. I wanted to inherit it so badly, and she gave it to my brother! Still love old impalas though!
That 64 Impala sweet looking car. I had a 2001 Impala nice car
I loved the old 283's they were fantastic! I had friends that put blowers on them! Keller engines!
I absolutely love that '64! When I was 9, my folks bought a red and white '64 4 door (I don't remember the trim level, but it was a nicer trim package than the Biscayne). My Grandpa (Dad's dad) loved that car so much that about 3 or 4 months later, he bought a '63 2 door Biscayne. Grandpa drove that car more than his '64 farm truck that, prior to him buying the Biscayne, was the only transportation he and Grandma had. He actually looked for reasons to get in that car and drive! Dad tried to buy it in Grandpa's estate sale, but it went REAL high, and Dad didn't feel like he and Mom could afford it... 😪
I'm sorry it's not in the family anymore. 😔 they really are some cool, nice driving cars.
Love those old Chevys, Hector. Back in the day before Chevrolet came out with their Z28 302, we built our own 301’s. Same deal, 4” bore. 3” stroke.
Would be a great motor for that Sleeper 64. That’s the year the Malibu came out. ‘64 Malibu Super Sport, precursor to the Chevelle line for GM.
Those were the great days of Very Cool Cars... Keep up the great content,
Hector..
MWP Cosby. Tn.
I would love to build engines like that. Especially the uncommon ones. 👍
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love these old Chevy, I had a 67 Impala with 396 when I was in High School.
Awesome
This is like watching Rory start his channel. You could see when you first started your channel you were uncomfortable talking to the camera. Great content and excellent work. The thing I liked the most is the fact that you involve your son and you train him how to work on a vehicle. Awesome keep up the great work it is so awesome.
Being in front of the camera is kind of hard, but talking to myself at the time of filming, talking to all of you is the hard part..lol
🙂🙂
👍🏼🤙🏽🤟🏽🤘🏾🤜🏽💥🤛🏽😎🙋🏽♂️✌🏽
You need to put on some Good old... Two Short...when working on it...
I listen to everything
Love it
I could’ve sworn your music was the Tennessee Three doing a backing track for Johnny Cash back in the Sun Records days.
Guess it isn’t. I’m gonna have to check out that group.
We listen to a lot of sun records around here. There is nothing better to me than some Rockabilly music
Time for a bigger garage
Rory sent us over here for Ol’ Blue, and I’m still hanging around. I really appreciate your explanations of what you’re doing and why. You’re a good teacher.
You’ve mentioned breaking your back in other videos. Is there an older video with what happened?
It’s really none of our business, and don’t want to bring up bad memories. Feel free to tell me to mind my own. Since you’ve mentioned it, just curious.

Sure is!
Commenting for Xtube points. 🤔
Thank you
Remove that chrome!! Come on now, you know better than that, that Delamination goes under the Chrome......I'm just giving you a hard time😅 just wanted to be the first one to say it😅😊😊
The car looks really nice. But you really should be wearing a mask or respirator.
You need to take the trim off or it'll flake again
If you don't know how to take it off goggle it
