❤you made a whole hour long rant of mine in a youtube short. i love your videos! do you have any other cooking channels that you enjoy? do you like any cooking blogs?
Thank you!!! As an Indian vegan I feel a little bit like this about people saying “curry” which is not a word/concept that most Indians use. We eat vegetables cooked in unique ways and they are called very descriptive names of which vegetable and how they are cooked 😂 not this umbrella term of “curry”
@@eatwithafia i see! Thank you for the explaination:D In my place for both type we kinda use just one word 🤣 my mom always made this dish we call as "stew" but it's actually very watery and not like sauce
This is hilarious bc my mom made “west African peanut stew” last week
time to send your mother this video hahah😅
Thank you! I grew up with the Senegalese Mafé so I'm always confused when I see "West African Peanut Stew" recipes
Mafe is delicious!😋
So true, I’m from Sierra Leone and it’s made completely different to the Ghanaian version. Ours is thicker in comparison
I wanna try it so bad, no matter what the name
In Senegal (and Mali) we call it Mafé
And it’s a stew( with vegetables like carrots, potatoes, cabbage…) not a soup! Lol
Also We only eat it with rice

This looks absolutely delicious 😍
Do you have web or link for the recipe? I'm interesting learn about african food. Thank you 😊
What are the main spices?
depends on who is cooking but it is not usually made with spices, mainly onion, ginger, garlic and sometimes prekese
Braa is also my favorite 😊
Essentially, Africa is not a country.
Can you share the recipes for berese 😢please 🙏
Do you speak Twi?

I'm a bit confused with the difference between stew and soup 😅 someone enlighten me pls
soup is liquid, stew is a sauce (unless you ask a Nigerian, the lines are a lot more blurred)
