I was there for 15 minutes, they charged me 800 dlls. As a non-USA resident, never got re-imbursed even though I had insurance. Healthcare should not be an opportunity to steal from people.

because The profit margin in Healthcare is the highest return on investment for the wealthy hedge fund investors. That's why they spend hundreds of millions of dollars each year lobbying both sides of the aisle, we as the American people need to start demanding from the people we vote for and now we see only one party is talking about trying to help the American people while the other wants to install a dictator so it's up to us if our government is truly by the people of the people and forth people.

What a legend!
I had a similar experience as Far Joe a few years ago. I was in a skilled nursing facility. Which was at the edge of a small farming community. And this was in the early days of COVID-19. We were not allowed out of the building except for medical appointments. And we only had what the staff prepared for us. I ended up losing 250 pounds. Then some time later I moved back to the capital, which was my home town. To an assisted living facility. I was able to go out to the store eventually. But I don't put any weight back on. Some time before I left there to a retirement community. My doctor told me that my A1C was normal. And it remained below 7 since then.
In the UK, we have the NHS, paid for through general taxation by everyone. Healthcare is free to the individual at point of care.
I have been to the ER too many times, had lots of blood work, had multiple X rays, a CT scan, 2 MRI scans, a nasal septoplasty operation and ortbopaedic surgery on my hand and I was charged £0.00 ($0.00) for all of it.

I had heard a year ago that there was some kind of fair pricing act that was supposed to have gone into affect last summer. Haven't heard anymore about it. You should be able to find out cost if you don't have insurance and what your out of pocket is, if you do. I'm dealing with that right now. I need 3 tests and I can't get that information

i got a 22k bill from the hospital, then the VA billed them and it was under 4k. they are called fee schedules and they're supposed to show if asked, but it can be various for in different places inside the same hospital

I get that healthcare cost transparency would be a massive step forward for America, but as someone who grew up with state funded healthcare (however messy that is) the idea of shopping around for a hospital or procedure still seems absolutely insane to me. There should be layers of experts between us lay people and the ones deciding who pays what for all this stuff...
Also, you've got to be pathetically insecure to be unwilling to vote for the obviously better qualified candidate just because shes a woman. Grow the f**k up.
The Harris camp missed an opportunity; they should have used Shania Twain's song "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" changing the lyrics to "I'm Man enough to Vote For a Woman" or "Man, Just Vote For the Woman".

We have that menu in my country, litterally, its on the website of every provider
I did some graduate study in Germany. I had to purchase health insurance while there. It cost less than what I paid when I had an employer picking up half the cost. When I got an ear ache, I walked into a private doctors office. I was seen in about 30 minutes. They charged me (before insurance) less than what my co-pay would have been for a regular physician visit in the U.S. They mildly chastised me that next time I had an issue, to give them a call in the morning before I came in. Not schedule for weeks out, but for later in the day.
Germany has private healthcare providers and even private insurance companies. Of course they have private manufacturers and drug companies - they make much of the equipment we use in the U.S. They are a very capitalist nation. But they have a system of publicly funding healthcare for everyone.
I've known of Fat Joe, never really heard him talk. Seems like an awesome dude.
