BTS’ relationship with one another is one of the healthiest I’ve ever seen, and perhaps the healthiest I’ve ever seen among men. They value respect and emotion, something that much of American “matcho man” culture lacks, which can really have negative impacts on men in this country. When I first discovered BTS, I was shocked at their maturity, because I’ve never seen that type of relationship among men here in the US. BTS have really opened my eyes to this and have shown me just how not normal it is for men here to be so disregarding of one another in that regard.
Americans raised boys in a toxic masculinity way, and tend to forget they are humans with emotions. Sometimes I think that might have to do with divorce rate so high because men don’t know how to express their feelings.
I agree. They're raised with that "Boys don't cry only girls". Because of this upbringing mentality, many boys grow up with emotional issues and depression. Yes, boys suffer from depression too. That's one of the things I love about BTS. They aren't afraid to shed a tear no matter the situation cause they're humans with feelings & just cause they're guys, doesn't mean that they can't express how they feel.
Its sad if people are making fun of someone for crying.. is it just me or doesnt it sound kinda childish. I think expressing youre feeling, especially with youre family is a skill. Its not something all of us know how to do just naturally, its something that needs to be learned.
after their wings tour, they had their love yourself tour in 2018. and then they had their follow up love yourself: speak yourself stadium tour in 2019. :)
Guys don’t not consider yourself an army cuz you are still learning, it’s ok, a lot of army’s are still learning. We all learn more and more about them everyday. As long as you enjoy them, you are respectful to them and you appreciate and recognize BTS’ hard work, then I think it is pretty safe to consider yourself an army ( if u want to that is) 💜
Hi Guys, this BTS Documentary was Released in 2018, mainly featured the excerpts from their 2017 "Wings Tour" Concert. Then, Fast Forward -- from August 2018- April 2019, BTS held their "Love Yourself World Tour", then from May-October 2019 the "Speak Yourself World Tour", which were their Last Tour. In January 2020 "The Map of the Soul World Tour" was set to start, but was abruptly cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. After 2 long years, finally in December 2021 BTS made their Concert Comeback -- "Permission to Dance" in Los Angeles and again in April 2022 in Las Vegas.

I get you guys thinking crying is considered "emotional and bad", and I know you guys are just getting to know BTS...but do you know what they went through? For Jin, V and the rest of the dudes (besides Jimin) trained for years not knowing what is going to happen, from the smallest company. They saw trainees come and go and get cut before their eyes before the 7 of them got chosen to debut. They had to sleep in one room with nowhere to go for years. Most people can run to their own rooms or house...they didn't have that option. It was dorm, practice, dorm back to practice for 12-14 hours a day. They didn't ask for success in the US and for a bunch of foreign youtubers to react to them for clout and say things like they need to toughen up bewilders me. I doubt anyone can go through what they went through at a young age. None of them had it easy, as a group they were going to disband in 2018 while they gained success because touring countries for 30+ days really fucks with your head and mentally/physically they were exhausted. Imagine being with 7 of the same people every damn day while you are tired and getting no sleep going from country to country. Of course you will fight and get on each other's nerves, especially when they go in front of the Army, they give it everything and don't want to show a fake facade. They cry because they have a brotherhood and don't want to hold toxic feelings for each other. That's how they "toughen up" vs. just getting over it but always having it in your head. I feel like them showing their emotions is a sign that they care about each other and is a healthy way of showing emotions. Anyway, I know you both are getting to know them but until you know their history and background, please don't act like their crying is a sign that they need to toughen up. They went through more than you will ever imagine to achieve where they are.
You have to understand me and my brother are from the streets of Philly . Grew up poor and in foster care as kids . So you don’t know what we have been through and what we had to do to survive.

@@Tyrellwastaken If this was the Wings tour, then they had 2 more tours before the Map of the Soul Tour was cancelled due to Covid. The Love Yourself tour came to the US in Sep/Oct of 2018. This is so weird to see people "praise" them, for literally being normal human beings. You know, YOU are the ones that can change Youre society..
Its tough and brave to cry, to show emotions rather than be afraid to show them.

"men shouldnt cry" is the most insensitive take though , gender shouldnt dictate feelings
