Watched the video on how to make the shim. Absolutely brilliant. I have always avoided making boxes because of the lids being a pain to do. NOT ANY MORE !!! Yay!
WOW!! These are stunning in this DSP. I have always loved the look of towered boxes but have never even considered making them. You have given such clear and concise instructions for these boxes. There’s a first time for everything - so I just might have to give these a try. As always loved this tutorial and your bright personality makes every video a pleasure to watch “The Connie Show”. Yep, hubby still calls you the Connie Show (
Now I know what to order from the catalog! It is so hard to narrow down a list when I want everything in there. I am so excited to get started on making these beautiful boxes when my order arrives! ❤️❤️❤️
I made that shim many years ago. I guess you can make the boxes with decreasing heights so they can nest inside for storage. Great way to use DSP for the decorative lids!
I am a “boxer” more than a card maker and this tutorial is wonderful. Even if one doesn’t use them for gifting, the stack makes a beautiful Christmas decoration.
Once again you have made my day brighter. I love this project as I might be able to use the largest one for my candy cakes.. my fudge recipe that I make in the shape of mini bundt cakes.. they are a huge hit...I will make one and see how it works. Thanks for sharing!
The candy cakes are a blast. I sprinkle them with powdered sugar and make doilies with a die to put them on. The boxes I've used I made from white and tied with ribbon. My husband was in chemo two years ago and made all the nurses at the oncology office ones for Valenties. They loved them..
Another awesome video 👌👏! I'm always looking for box ideas! Would love to see you do a 5x7 greeting card box! Do you make treats to go inside each box? 😍♥️
@@simplysimplestamping thanks, I will check it out. Yes I make my own sweets, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered Oreo's, chocolate covered pretzels and many other things. Everything is always wrapped in a cellophane bag. I'll let you know how it turns out! ♥️😍

@@jzad511 I saved the video. What I want to know is if I can get the shim that she used. She said it makes a difference.
Wanni S hi Wanni, she made it herself for her personal use, it’s not for sale.
