We all have that dream of staying in a beautiful #houseboat , if it's our first trip to #kashmir #srinagar 😍 and I am no different 😊
We went to Kashmir in last week of August, 2023. The temperature these days go up to 35 and it is really hot during daytime (if it doesn't rain).
Kashmiri people are so nice... we were initially booking a houseboat without AC, but as the guy came to know that we are travelling with kids, he told us to go for any other houseboat with air-conditioning.
That's how we landed at Harmukh Houseboat in Nigeen Lake 😍
We didn't wish to stay at #dallake as it has become too crowded now, while, Nigeen lake has less houseboats and peaceful surroundings.
The Harmukh Houseboat has beautiful interiors with all wooden carvings and Kashmiri furnishings, it is east-facing, so you can enjoy sunrise from their lovely terrace, they serve yummy food and have helpful staff.
