Well buddy you get a thumps up because I love your channel. However this time I disagree I love to see Props in flight videos I think it gives the watcher a true feel of what's going on, ( but each to there own )
What's the deal with DaVinci Resolve 16? I was just on their site and they have version 15 for NZ$555 and Resolve 16 BETA for free. I'm ready to try something else other than Premiere and FCP.
Both have free version and paid versions, Davinci Resolve 15 is the free stable version, Davinci Resolve 16 is the new free beta version, but there's also Davinci Resolve 15 and 16 Studio versions that are paid for and have some more features. The studio version isn't needed for anyone not actually working on films though so the free version is what you want 🐬

Sorry to bother you again regarding this vid. I'm running into a problem. When we are adding the Adjustment layer its going to V2, while the source videos in the timeline are on V1. Back to that in a second. I am able to successfully apply the adjustment tweak to get the props out. And I am successful at color grading those clips however when I go to color grade there is now an additional clip labeled "Adjustment Clip". Also when I export or "Render" its only rendering everything on the V1 Timeline and not V2 where the adjustment is. So I'm getting color graded renders but not with V2 applied resulting in props still in view. I'm not seeing anything in the render setup to include V2. I also tried doing individual adjustment clips for each source clip and still no dice. It 100% works except for the rendering process. We could (or I could) use a video explaining your rendering process in Dr16 from start to finish and what your best rendering settings are.
It should render every layer, there's no way to even turn off rendering certain layers unless you turn them off manually in the edit tab. Maybe shoot me a message on Instagram with some pictures of your timeline and I can take a look!

@@Nick-xe2hu hey man sorry I just saw this! But it looks like in your deliver page under the timeline viewer, only the the GoPro clip is selected and not the adjustment layers, try highlighting both the GoPro clip and the adjustment layer and then rendering!
@@WillardFPV617 I think I'm missing something (or not, since your flight footage looks amazing).... essentially superview stretches (distorts) the sides of the images to make it look wider. Isn't that counter-sense to apply lens correction in footage that is distorted "on purpose"? Unless the lens correction was made taking the superview distortion into account, it won't "un-distort" the image properly.. (I'm saying this not considering the goal of removing props in view, but actually just applying lens correction on gopro footage to flatten it).
@@blackmennewstyle I'm not sure I'm being able to explain myself clearly: there is no lens that is 100% distortion-less, and the gopro, having a wide one, is very far from that. When you apply a lens correction profile to photo or video, the image is "un-distorted" just the right amount. To make such lens correction profile, the framing was taken into account so the distortions could be calculated and corrected, so any change in this framing (a image crop, for example) will affect the lens correction. Maybe not enough to be noted, but as lens distortion isn't linear, it may "un-distort" the image more or less than necessary in some areas. My doubt/observation is that if lens correction profile used to correct gopro footage wasn't made taking superview into account, it will not do it's job. In other words: correctly applying a lens correction profile to superview footage should make the image look just like superview wasn't used.
