The snow chain mode is a setting because this car has 10 degrees of rear wheel steering. If you put snow chains on, turning on snow chain mode will limit the rear wheels to 4.5 degrees so that the chains don't hit/bind against anything in there.
Based on your comments about the brake pedal, I'm guessing this is a 2023 model. They fixed this for 2024+ models and made it more normal. Great review! Fun fact though... even though the pedal feels terrible, the EQS has great brakes. The SUV stops from 60-0 mph in 110 feet which is pretty great, REALLY great when you consider it's over 6,000 pounds.
Off camera we had a few moments where we had to have some hard braking. Even doing some research online about the "issue" we were having everyone swore that they worked as intended. While neither of us got used to the 2023 pedal, it is good to know we weren't the only ones.
The mirrors moving can be adjusted to however you want in all cars that have them.

That is actually really well thought out. Can't say a lot of other manufacturers would cover that out of the gate.

2024+ models got the powered charge port door where you can open and close it from inside. The 2023 models had a non-powered charge port door.
Awesome! Good to know. I appreciate the knowledge bombs you have been dropping in the comments!
