Icelandair is such a niche boutique airline and they certainly do offer some great value. I always enjoyed their Saga service and the lounge, and their catering is always excellent and fresh.
I flew to KEF with my mom from RDU and upgraded to Saga. It was worth it, for her comfort. She can get a bit claustrophobic in airplanes and in smaller seats, but the size of the Saga seat was perfect for her. She didn’t care that the seat didn’t fully recline, it was still comfy enough for her to fall asleep. She slept the whole way there.
Im surprised Iceland Air is still flying 757s at this late date. What do people do that cant go up and down stairs. I noticed some stairs in your video. Some of the Euro Airports I believe dont have jetways to the aircraft and one must climb the stairs

Just thought for customers paying more than $2000 the airline may want to invest in a more robust menu to successfully compete with other mainline carries-I just want Icelandair to continue winning! And for the macarons, I was just noting they were culturally a bit random. I personally like when airlines provide something with a bit more cultural relevance to the country they represent, like Finnair providing Fazer chocolates or JAL providing Japanese pudding as a treat with coffee. ☺️🙏🏼

Definitely will not spend 7+ hours in those seats even if they have a superior soft-product than Delta.

Macarons aren’t random, it’s something sweet with tea and coffee. People would pay a lot to get that amount of salmon at a restaurant, be greatfull.

I don't understand if he went by Saga Business class he had a choice between meat and fish. Why salmon again? (from my experience)
