As an unnerfed allegiance victor, you’re wrong. The gameplay itself isn’t even that much harder, there’s just 5 ridiculous choke points that you constantly die to, plus the ufo spam before the 54 ship and first wave are inconsistent.

allegiance is a low end extreme, yes, but the deco that frequently obscures your vision and make everything harder to see makes up for easy gp
