- Here I want to point out the differences between all the radio models. they look the same, but when you look closer, there are small differences. Also I point out some weaknesses in these radio's.

Hallo Martijn, ik ben in het bezit van een dergelijk type radio, overigens geheel werkend, in goede conditie, ziet er goed uit. Hij lijkt het meest op die B6x12a qua uiterlijk aan de voorkant, maar heeft aan de achterkant géén type-plaatje net zoals bij jouw B6x94a; als je die omdraait bij 17:05... waar overigens wél een nummer op gedrukt staat; A3 262 05. Precies hetzelfde als bij de radio die ik heb, maar qua aansluitingen enz. lijkt die weer het meeste op de radio waar je het chassis van laat zien. Dus ik ben nu toch wel benieuwd wat voor een radio ik hier heb staan. Behalve dat het wel een prachtig apparaat is, wat er nog goed uitziet en ook nog altijd goed werkt. Misschien zegt het je iets als ik opmerk dat FM maar tot 100 Mhz gaat (of Mc/s zoals erop staat).
Naar het modeljaar hoef je niet te raden, het cijfer na de X in het typenummer geeft het aan. Dus je B6X12A bijvoorbeeld is van modeljaar 1961. Het zijn goede radio’s die na wat reparatie/revisie-werk nog prima meekunnen. Keep up the good work!

Hoi Martijn, ik heb een B43X23A en die start prima op maar na ca. 30 seconden krijg ik die 'cracling sound" zoals jij die ook omschrijft. Moet ik dan die couple condensators vervangen die jij noemt of is dit bij dit model weer anders? Ik vind het fantastische radio's! Dank alvast voor je reactie...
De beide 150 pf condensatoren over de anode's van de ecc83 vervangen...
