Ok so funny - I clicked this video and was worried you actually read 24 hours straight because that couldn't be good for anyone! I loved what you said about sleep schedules and that you honored your body and how you're made because that's so important! 🤍 Great video!

I read Piranesi last year and i was mesmerized the whole time maybe i should reread it 🤭 I don't think they have nothing to do with each other but Piranesi's world gave me the same feelings of when i was reading Narnia's "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader of ' 🤔 I have the song of Achiles as part of my summer reading challenge bc i've been putting off reading it for ages now. Thanks for the vlog and i hope your sleep schedule is back to normal. ✨

I absolutely love alisonpaiges too! Going through a slump myself and not fully sure how to pull myself out of it haha. I've tried a couple of things but I think I'm just gonna have to wait it out lol.

what helped me in the end was just powering through and reading as much as possible, especially fast-paced books 😅 hope yours goes away soon! 💘

i had to go find my copy of song of achilles just to remember what chapter 13 was about for you 😭 i think at the time, i thought she forced him into it, as he seemed panicked and not interested. though, it was weirdly written and not addressed later, so honestly, who knows. the end was also what got me, and i’m glad achilles’ mother got a bit of a “redemption.” a truly beautiful ending. loved the video!

I think that ch13 was just something she had to put in because it happens in the actual myths and lore

that was my initial thought, but i googled and couldn’t find any evidence of it happening in greek mythology 😟

    Spoilers:
The beginning of Piranesi being a bit boring makes sense when you realise he is a scientist but he doesn't know about it. His journalling style is a part of the plot, everything is in the right place in this novel

yeah i agree. i just wasn’t in the right mindset for the way it was written at the time i was reading it unfortunately
