This this Edge had more options than my 2010 IS350 albeit the Edge doesn't move like my Lexus Did but Im very happy with the Performance! I have had no issues with it since I bought it brand new! I just had the battery changed last week and it was covered under warranty!

I have a Ford Edge Limited 2011 and I still love it. The sport trim for 2011-2014 are bad a$$. The new 2015 -2017 are nice but all the trims look alike.
the 2011 and on Mustang's also had the 3.7l v6. Some of the Lincoln vehicles also had (and may still have) that engine as a choice. I honestly struggled quite a bit with the notion of a non-normally aspirated motor (turbo) but wound up with a '16 Edge Sport - and so far am very happy. The MPG in the newer Edge Sport is about 2-3MPG better and there's much more torque when you don't care about the MPGs. Great video!
Quality went down in the redesign to compensate for the upgraded engine. Imo. Which turned me off from getting the edge sport . our 2014 edge limited was stolen and is missed dearly.
Those are really nice. I always liked that style/generation of the Edge. We had a 2007 Lincoln MKX several vehicles ago, was a nice vehicle...just a dressed up loaded Edge of the first gen. It seems the new Edges are kinda not a huge seller compared to the Escapes and Explorers but I still like them.
+klc317 Yes the Edge will never sell like the Escape and the Explorer, those two models are more established in the market place as well, the Edge has a price range in-between the two as well.. the Explorer is more but it is also the most sold SUV with third row seating in America, serves a different purpose with the third row :)
And that is right in the 2015 model year Ford Edge Sport Ford choose to go with 21 inch wheels because the previous Edge Sport looks so good with 22s man!
I love the look of these, shame Ford of Europe didn't sell them over here (in Finland). Would make a nice winter car. Also wish a manual transmission was offered.
I own a 2013 white pearl colour Limited AWD for 3 years and entering my 4th year. I love my car so much. It is really comfortable when I drive in it specially when I travel to see my parents where I travel 400 km forward and backward. Pros: 1-Comfortable ride. 2-Good looking. 3-I like the trunk space. 4-The Sony sound system is really great. 5-Safty features like: Blind Spot, Adaptive cruse control and anticolision warning feature "saved me from crashing several times". 6-Great service and support from my local dealer. Cons: 1-Rattling sounds since day one coming from my right passenger door. 2-Expensive tires "Damn you Pirelli" I pay 400$ for each tyre. 3-The vista sun roof looks great but I don't benefit from it in my country because its always sunny and extremely hot. 4-MyFordTouch is frustrating and laggy as fuck. sometimes it drops Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. 5-No Nav system available at all in all middle east Edges "No thanks to Ford". 6- I know its not a -ve point but it really sucks that Sync2 is not upgradable to Sync3
I have the 2014 Edge. I checked out the 2015 models before I bought the 2014 and the 2015 Edges are UGLY! The 2015 Edge now looks very generic and looks like any other mid size SUVs. I love my 2014 Edge, beautiful and powerful and stands out from the rest.

Dude I dont even like American cars in general and I specifically looked for this model because I did like it A LOT years ago and wondered what ever happened to Ford design when looking at newer ones. Congrats on getting one of these!

Yes I own a 2008 Ford Edge but it's the base model but I want to upgrade to the sport model 2014 I love the body shape I love the way the spacious room is inside of it but I never had a sunroof in my 08 but I love the I love the panoramic smooth I love that I just love the 2014 sport it's a nice body shape and that's what I always wanted before I got my 08 but I couldn't afford it right then but now I want to upgrade to the 2 thous and 14 sport all will drive In the color that I want is either a ruby red or a white

Just a great design overall - I'm hoping for a low mileage 2014 that lived out of the colder climates of the US to bring home to Ohio when the time is right. Fingers crossed I can pick one up in less than 2 years
would love to have the one you was driving it was sharp looking I have a 2012 Ford fusion4 cylinder sel model. it's a good vehicle but worry about the transmission heard they have trouble especially with the 4 cylinder hope it's not true cause I'll trade in for a Ford edge thanks for your vid thanks Ryan
I love the sport in all generations of the edge. One thing I like but not that practical for where I live is the low profile tires. They don't work well in the snow.
The newer Edge does look overall better. Even then from behind it has a boxy look being higher than wider. Which I don't like. Should be lowered. I like the face of the older Edge better. with black grill and fogged lights. The roundish back doesn't look that good though. There is there the new model looks more chiselled/stylish. But this model, if you would lower it and put deep dish rims on with fatter tires, would look nicely planted in the street.
Just picked up a used Ford cert. 14 sport with 19K miles. The only thing I do not like so far is 16 MPG and I live in the country. Also a much tighter fit in the garage than the Mitsubishi it is replacing. Anyway to override the one touch stopping a foot short of closing? And come on Ford how about a digital read out for the MPH
Yep - I never got even close to the claimed 26MPG in my 2011 Edge Sport. I had a 2011 Mustang v6 with the same motor and was able to get better than 30MPG (my Mustang had a manual and 3.73 rear diff) so the poor MPG in the edge wasn't my driving ;-) For 2016 the Edge Sport now (finally) has a digital readout for MPH....
I've gotten 26 mpg in my 2011 limited with the 3.5 v6... also it stops 1 foot short because for whatever reason, they didn't have a bounce back feature at that time. Like if something was in the way, or a kid was sticking their head out,that way you dont crush it

I love my 2013 Tuxedo Black Ford Edge Sport in 2023. They haven't made another SUV look as good as this model

The Ford Edge comes with a semi-automatic transmission, so you could drive it as a Manual as well. Hope this helped :)

Not so. My 2011 is not a sport and has a huge panoramic sunroof.

Yeah they screwed up the edge with the newest models the 2015 was cool enough but 2011-2014 was the sweet spot.!
