- Sappers from 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment (3 CER) have stormed Pallerenda Beach, Townsville in small boat certification training.
Exercise Thunder Strike saw 3 CER's 18th Combat Engineer Squadron conduct man overboard drills, tactical formations, and beach landings to strengthen its ability to rapidly deploy whenever and wherever required. The squadron also completed Zodiac craft assembly and maintenance ensuring it continues providing vital watermanship capability to 3rd Brigade for both tactical and disaster relief operations.

I love Australian Defence Force. God bless Australia
We've certainly seen them work SO hard during the fires, then pandemic, then floods, and in their spare time maintain their readiness for defence.
Follow the sapper. All the very best brothers.

Respects from England.
56 seconds? Come on! Make the PAO work for the bloody beer tokens!
It only takes the engineers 56 seconds to rapid deploy anyware in the world 😉
😎📹, you guys are doing an outstanding job, so keep it up and God bless 🇭🇲⚔️💪
I’m with you boys keep it up 👍
Who needs a Fujian Carrier when you’ve got this!
Awesome kit.. luv the old zodiacs the clearance divers used... the water police had no idea.. lols.
I know the small boats are light and easy to deploy, but what about the 'SeaLegs' amphibious boats made in New Zealand. They seem pretty handy to be able to drive up the beach. Go ADF :)
I don't think we have legal rights to manufacture those and as far as I know, the armed haven't bought equipment from foreign dealers in decades
Hope you blokes had someone watching for crocs....that part of tville has seen a few crocs lately
From high vue seems turtles enter in the water
T-bone and beers on the beach ....

No to pronouns and yes to just doing your job professionally ❤️🇦🇺

I feel very reassured with Dutton there.
Imagine if it was a Labor minister?
They would probably ban the Australian flag and make all of the soldiers announce their preferred pronouns.
Spoken like someone not in the military lol
Atleast up here in the US, most leaders prefer to avoid mentioning any pronouns, and generally just call everyone "troop" or "soldier"
Yeah nah we just put our pronouns in our email headers like everyone else 🤣🤣🤣
Niceeeeeeeee
