Thanks. So is this the " fast optic riser" or the "fast absolute riser"? Since the optic height for the holosun alone is listed as 1.43" and an absolute cowitness sight the unity website says to use the "absolute riser" to get to the 2.26" centerline height. The "absolute riser" is a taller mount than the "optic riser" (to be used with 1/3 cowitness). This makes sense since a 1/3 sight will be taller to begin with so the mount to reach 2.26" will be shorter. In looking at the pics of the two mounts on the unity website, It looks like you have the shorter 1/3 fast optic riser mount instead of the absolute mount. But guess not much difference as long as it works for you .., thanks!
I would like to see how that height effects the aiming at close range. how much do you have to compensate maybe you could do a video on the difference between the two aiming points between the two mounts

Zeroing wasn't a problem, but you do have to pay attention to how the height over bore will affect your hold overs and hold unders at various distances.

I've contacted Unity and their mounts don't support the HM3X, and they didn't mention plans to accommodate them in the future. I haven't been able to find a mount that would work either especially with the riser plate in the 510C. Let me know if you find a solution.
I have all of my dots at 2.26. No issues at all zeroing or hitting targets. Run your ammo and your optic height through a ballistics calculator (free online) and it will tell you your holdovers for anything you have. You will in no way run out of adjustment. There is a video on YT where someone has their optic 23 inches height over bore and shot it with complete accuracy. ua-cam.com/video/R9lLlodVhrk/v-deo.html *** When/If you run it through a calculator - The HOB with a 2.26 (height over rail) is actually 3.47 over the bore. I think the average bore over rail is 1.21".
I’m having issues with the absolute riser. With my 510c I’ve maxed out the lowest elevation setting and it’s still too high apparently. I still have to hold the dot quite a bit above the intended target to make a hit. I’m not even using the holosun spacer on my 510c for this build either. I’m confused, because I’ve seen people run optics like eotech on the absolute riser, which sits even higher than the holosun. Unless eotechs just have that much more elevation/windage adjustability?
How close are you shooting compared to the distance you're zeroed at? There's a mechanical offset (height of optic over bore) that must be accounted for. It will change the point of aim compared to the point of impact.

I see. I'm not sure what to say about that. There should be plenty of elevation adjustment available. I have this setup on multiple rifles and haven't experienced that problem. I'll check into it and if I find something out let you know.

This set up has the riser plate. I have it on another set up with a longer barrel and like it. I will probably get a cheek riser though to get good contact with the stock.
Unfortunately, no. I spoke to them about it too, and they don't seem to have any plans for future support. I have another setup like this, and I've mounted the magnifier on a second riser. The downsides to that is the magnifier still flips out to the side and doesn't tuck under on the same line. It's better than nothing though.

I have the Holosun magnifier. I contacted Unity and that don't seem to have any plans to make a mount that will fit it. The do make a mount for other magnifiers, which are pretty cool because they tuck the magnifier under the mount and inline with the barrel (as opposed to flipped out to the side), so it's out of the way.
I gave this optic to a friend, so I'm not using this weapon right now. However, I have this setup on an 11.5" that is for home defense type situations, and I love it. It helps me have better posture. I haven't switched to it on some other rifles that I use for longer distances as well though because I'm not sure I want that much height over bore. I've been meaning to experiment with it on those, so maybe I'll make a video about that.

The Votatu is very similiar in shape and looks. Would this mount work with the Votatu?
It's basically just an elevated strip of picattiny rail, so it should work with anything that mounts on picattiny.

I got one for my PDX but took it off.I have on two of my rifles.

There's not much room for the pressure pad, so I use my c-grip thumb to activate the switch.
If you want it higher buy the unity absolute riser
