I have a question with this analogy - Purely from a place of not understanding (For context I am a person who's questioning *if* I believe in God in the first place - My current stance is I am willing to believe God exists but I want to work on myself before I start seeking a relationship with him) -- How often does a person drink from the well of God? And what actions are considered drinking from the well of God?
Drinking from the well of God means to recharge and fill yourself up with God (Holy Spirit). Prayer, Reading your Word, Worship and the Church are my big 3. Prayer to me is time that I set apart in my day that is specifically meant for just me and God, where I talk with him and ask him to help me see things from a higher vantage point (I overthink a lot). Whether that's going for a walk outside or sitting in my room just listening to God. The most important thing is the attitude of your heart in doing these things, when you worship, when you read your Bible, when you pray, when you sit in Church, see that your heart is in the right place. Realize that you need God's living water and sincerely yearn for it and God will quench your thirst. Hope that answers your question.
