My mum passed suddenly & unexpectedly on her 76th birthday, 10th January this year, from a burst abdominal aneurysm. She didn’t even get to open her cards. Nearly 10 months on, it’s still a huge massive blur.
Strange isn’t it, that regardless of our age, we almost feel our parents are utterly invincible; we’re around them so often we don’t notice them age, we transition from them taking care of us, to us taking care of them (making meals for them or inviting them for dinner, taking them to appointments, making sure bthey take their medications etc). We can’t ever envision a life without them.
I’ve watched Whitney’s Instagram, Babs has come on leaps & bounds & is improving every day,
Sending all my love, blessings & healing vibes to the whole family. X

So sorry, we lost my sister in law on sept 1st. She had a brain aneurysm at the gym then several stokes later over 10 days it was horrible. She was on 43 I came to Oklahoma to help my brother and my niece (14) now without her mom. It is horrible and the tears and the pain that just reaches up and punches you in the stomach through out the day is just unbearable still. I was working remotely for a mortgage company which I was laid off the day she passed away. Life can be so hard at times and there are no words to really comfort anyone except to just breath and try to get through minute by minute. My prayers are with you and just go be with your mom. When it happened to me and I lost my mom I wanted the world to stop because I felt my life stopped. I felt the same losing my sister in law. I am so sorry again just take it day by day and do what you feel in your heart is right .

This really breaks my heart because lately my mother has had bad health issues such as (Now) heart disease, strokes, 5 stents in her heart, had a few heart attacks, and seeing my mother deal with a lot more and I’ve taken care of her since I was 13…
I genuinely live in fear everyday with this issue. Same exact issue. I’m 19, and she’s only 46…she’s too young but she lives everyday in some sort of worry of “what’s next to happen?” I love her so much but I would be lying if I said I don’t fear for her passing any minute. She’s so critical so young, my momma really deserves a better life/world she was given. My heart goes out to anyone who genuinely understands the fears. Even nights where you keep your door open in case she yells if she’s fallen or isn’t ok, even if she can’t yell you hear her, just the constant worrying…

I remember this pain. My dad had his first severe stroke in February 2020. He was found unresponsive by some co-workers in his apartment after not showing up for work. Ultimately after suffering his fourth stroke in June he spent 33 days in in home hospice care. He passed July 25th. For 2.5 years I kept my dad home and took care of him full-time. My dad had Ischemic Strokes.

If this isn’t a wake up call for Whitney, I don’t know what will be. She is at such a high risk of heart attack or stroke bc of her weight, especially with it being in the family. When is she going to get serious about doing something for her health? If she doesn’t, this will not end well for her.

@@skibunny1631 she does. I've watched long enough. She doesn't even hold her classes much anymore. Only bigger women go because they get to be on TV. She doesn't have the stamina to really conduct a really class. A college degree doesn't even guarantee employment anymore. She's so fat, she can't even perform her own hygiene. The first season, she had her mother shave the back of her legs because she can't reach and hired a friend to help her bathe and dress because she can't do it herself. That's unhealthy and wrong. She's also a whiney narcissist.

My prayers go out to you and your family, Whitney. I was my mother's sole caregiver for 9 and a half years before she passed away last year. My mother was in the hospital and the doctor came in that morning and said she was going home that afternoon...my mother passed away 2 hours later. That was so hard for me to come to terms with. I am thankful that I had those years to care for my mother--to give her back some of what she gave me all my life! I was there with my mother when she took her last breathe; I take comfort in knowing that I was there for her right up to the end. Our parents give us unconditional love; and to be there for them when they need us the most is our duty and obligation. I'm glad I fulfilled mine. Be there for your mother, Whitney...the rest is in God's hands.

Why were you the only one that was allowed to visit your mother in the hospital if you were the only one that didn't have covid? Your dad already had it and so did your brother and so did your mother so what was the harm in letting them go in the room in fact it was probably more harmful for you to go in the room makes no sense at all
