Girl! I love this video! Thank you for being vulnerable and LOL! Your eating girl! It’s hilariously funny! I also love that you are willing to take your daughter with you on these trips and errands to the store. That’s definitely a lot of work! Props to you! You have such a good heart! ❤️ On a more serious note, I too struggle with this and I have 3 kids... one thing I’ve been trying to teach my kids is to be thankful for what they have. I also teach them to give their toys to others who could use them more if they are not using it anymore. We also do garage sales every summer and would ask them which toys they want to sell to make them some money. Lastly, it’s a little hard for kids at the age of 3 to understand, but we have started to teach them the concept of saving money. We have 3 jars, one for sharing, saving and spending. They get the money from doing a certain amount chores or just some they thing are struggling to do like going to the potty, brushing their teeth, or just being kind. So whenever we go out, if we think they want to buy something, we ask them how much they want to spend from their jar and if they have enough money. If not, they’ll have to save for that item they really want. It’s still a little hard, but we’ve got to start somewhere. In the future, I’d like to take my kids to do community work like Feed My Starving Children so they understand the concept of being thankful for what they have. We used to walk around the city a lot and would see the homeless’ tent homes. They would ask what they were and we’d tell them. Then we’d remind them that there are some people who don’t even have homes and we should help them when we can. My oldest who is now 6 years old has a better understanding of this though. But it’s still good to talk to them about these things. Hope these tips help! Keep up the great work! You’ve got this!
