Trouble is every single new board that come out is absolutely ripped by the promoters. No way to see weather its progression in baord design or simply great marketing. "Hey guys everybody with x style so we can say this board does it better than others" great edit. And I actually really like the shape too
They are making that board look sick! Curious on why it is labeled a step down / groveler yet all the waves in this vid are very solid. Apparently it works in surf that I'd personally ride a step up in...? Would like to see it on some average California surf!
@@nottherealChickenJoe All part of the marketing. Give a pro a board and show that it can be ridden in all conditions. Then the average joe takes it to 8ft desert and gets smoked lol.
It was designed to be a fun performance hybrid, and it works great like that. G Bros took to Hawaii for a month, was never under head high. Will show more small wave stuff shortly. Standby.
I am sur ethis is a great model....the story why it was developpednis really inspiring (as a skateboarder from the Dogtown era). On the other hand the Gudoska bros could surf ridiculously well on a bathroom door ;-)
Great surfing as always, i guess great boards even tho its surfed in solid conditions, by some of the best.... and somehow the storytelling, wording and voiceover its always the same, monotematic, flat, vibe. cheers!
We have endless performance hybrid model in our design library. This is yet another fresh take on that popular category and you re welcome to custom order any size. Enjoy.
@@cwr8618 The G Bros took their board to North Shore for one monty - December through January - and this is what they got during that time. Pumping everyday. Plenty to small crap waves will be available to watch soon. Hang in there! Also we don't charge $1000 for this board. Thanks for chiming in.
@cisurfboards I think the point he’s trying to make is that 99% of average surfers aren’t going to the north shore and surfing this shape - so us average people would be able to wrap our heads around seeing those boards surfed in the waves we would surf them in. And the board is $875 on your website w color, $775 without. After taxes, fins, stomp pad potentially, a leash.. you are definitely spending around a grand.
@@bradycollins73 agreed on most of this, but I wouldn't fault CI for the extras. You don't 'need' a pad and the fins and leash can be used on any board. Once you get a couple sets of fins and leashes, you're set for years. But agreed on the prices - they're out the f of control.
Insane edit! ❤️ the vinta/retro feel…. takes me back to the Buttons / Rabbit / Horan days!🙏 Mahalos!
Great music!!! Great film!!!
yeah would love to know what the music was

I never get this as well... Like the neckbeard 3 which is officially a groveler yet Dane promotes it by riding 8ft Lakey Peak haha

Best edit I’ve seen in a while. Great looking board too 😮
The rail to rail is nasty clean
G bros absolutely ripping❤
That’s a sick tape 🤙
We all want to see how it goes in 2-3ft slop. Wouldn't buy this 'fun' shape to go surf anything solid.
There will be a lot of third party reviews and small wave content up in the coming weeks.
why no like having fun in good waves ? 😂😂
0:20 That look you give your homie the first 30 minutes into a surf trip. 😂

I can’t tell a damn thing about how that board rides from that edit. I get that those guys can rip on anything, that’s not helpful.
Well ...I thought I had a good session today.....😢lol great work boys!
Does it work as a twin?
Reminds me of my old bear wombat. Best board I ever surfed
Espetacular! Gostaria de saber se funciona bem em ondas pequenas.
I ride Bobby Quad 5'8, what size will be for the g skate??
Come on CI... say something about dims comparing with the BOBBY QUAD

Yeah!
Yewww, these boards look so fun. Got to check them out at Surf Staion. 🤙🤙

Cool hypto
Yes another board to add to my quiver to show my friends it’s the board and not the surfer…wait what 😅😭😭😭
Natural Instinct ♦️
If only they made it in a 5’5 x 19 1/4

I’ll take two please 🙏🏼
One of the ugliest boards I’ve ever seen in person.
🤮🤙🏾
Funny how most surfboard test are done in killer waves not some grovely bs like they're designed for. Come on guys , stop charging 1k$ for a surfboard
Second this. Marketing
