nice video just came back from spending 30 days in Bangkok. i would say that on soi 4 there are less than half the freelancers from before covid. on Therme cafe next to no freelancers compared to before. when you walk down soi 4 look inside Nana Plaza over half the bars are still closed. they say it will be 3 years before this area recovers completely.
Thank you for watching my video. It will take years to come for any industry to fully escape the effects of Covid-19. It would be natural for me, but I will also capture the change in the video.
That's interesting news, but from all the videos I've seen on Bangkok and Pattaya it does look like things are picking up a bit. I love that area around the Nana Hotel sign on Soi 4, and plan to be there in February.
Thanks for the info brother. Definitely going to visit them in Dec. I always felt i don't have energy to have more than 1 girl for the day. I always travel to Bangkok for few days only.

Thank you for watching my video. Until about 10 years ago, freelancers could also be seen on Yaowarat Road, the main area of Chinatown, but now it has been reduced to the area (Mittraphan Road,) shown in my video.
Thank you for watching my video. I've been thinking a lot about putting Khaosan Road. There are a lot of freelancers on Khao San Road, and there are freelance streets for Thais around Democracy Tower, and even freelance streets for senior Thais. But in the end, the reason Khaosan was omitted is that it is famous, but it is too far away. All of the places I introduced are 5-minute walk from BTS or MRT stations. So Khaosan was left out because it seemed appropriate to make a special episode and introduce it separately.
Thank you for watching my video. I know of Grace Hotel and other hotels in the same industry in Sukhumvit4. However, reviews of services within the building are currently only being planned. I plan to do such reviews on other channels than this channel once the number of subscribers increases.
The nightlife video was shot with Dji Pocket 2. I had a bit of an accident last weekend and I think I need to replace my camera. The main shooting video is Dji Pocket 2, but in rare cases, GoPro 9, 10, and Insta 360RS are used. For photos that are mainly used in my videos, smartphones and Sony A7m3 and A7RM4 are mainly used. In rare cases canon is used.
Except for special cases, the main shooting is Dji Pocket 2. In the case of GoPro or Insta 360, it is used on a limited basis due to EIS problems. This isn't a mechanical problem, it's a matter of taste in the stabilizer. It's just that I personally don't like software-based stabilizers that much. Whichever camera you use, shoot at night at ISO 800 or 1600, not auto. For street shooting, there are times when I get help from people around me to a limited extent. Editing and color grading, the post-production of the video, are all done by me.
Just a bit off advice as a tourist I would be walking down any type off dark and quite streets keep to were the city lights and people are and that's for any were in the world stay safe

I wouldn't consider the back streets of Yaowarat (Chinatown) to be especially 'freelancer' streets. What you see there are mainly drug addicts, or their pimped girlfriends, trying to score a couple of hundred baht - with all the attendant risks to the customer, from STDs, to simple theft, to outright violence...any big inner city, with decrepit hotels and poverty will have the same. What wonderful human beings, seeking to take advantage of their plight! Lumpini and Makkasan aren't much better, and cater to the local working class, with prices and risks attendant... What is truly shocking is the proliferation of streetwalkers in and around Sukhumvit. I guess Covid drove a lot of the bar girls on to the street. Lest anyone think I am on an anti-prostitution campaign: I am not. But this is a very bad look for Bangkok, and for Thailand, and attracts the absolute wrong people to the place. Sex has always been on offer in ALL of Thailand, and SE Asia in general, but was orders of magnitude more discreet than now. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a slovenly, rude, drunk sex-tourist on the whole strip of Sukhumvit, from Asoke to Ploenchit... It's just plain disgusting. The silver lining to this video is that some of these cretins, who can't find their ass with both hands, will somehow find the back streets you show, and Darwin will prevail...out of the gene pool, farang kee nok !
Thank you for watching my video. I respect your opinion too. This isn't a mechanical answer, it's real. Because most of my videos are a continuous record of the elements (buildings, roads, people) that make up a certain area. So, there is a starting point and an ending point of the video, and the same course is repeatedly filmed at regular intervals. If possible, it is to exclude my personal thoughts and record how a region is changing. How to view the change is not my judgment, but the judgment of the viewer. Accordingly, I respect most opinions as his personal opinions, unless they are criticisms of other viewers.
Thank you, too, @MaeilBangkok, for interesting and provocative content, free of editorial comment. As I see some of the areas I haven't visited for some time (pre-Covid), I am somewhat shocked at the changes, and more than a bit concerned about the future course that Thailand is seemingly taking. I hope the 'beautification' that the city administration has embarked upon doesn't drive the character, and the local people, away. Bangkok's charm is inextricably bound to them. I really appreciate your honest and open comment, and wish you luck with your channel. I will be watching and subscribing... Cheers.
