Honestly. Yeah. It's kinda sad. I used to play every day and loved Small Tribes. I have 30k hours in ASE. The game wasn't playable since speed hacks and ASA isn't a finished game.

But tbh as an ase early access player wayyyy back then ,the rat holes or “mesh spots” was a thing that majority of all players didn’t know about and everyone built outside in the open.
To be honest I started playing so early that finding all of the caves on the island was a thing that was hard,so even like the pearl caves weren’t so widely known about.
There was a transition point where people started building in caves and ratholes on purpose and nobody built outside excluding mega tribe servers.
So I kinda like the idea of all competition above ground however they’ve added tons of things since the last time in ark history of “outside” building 😅 they have made it unbalanced,every base outside is raidable
ASE early access was different story. game was new, noone knew what to do. but now after almost 9 years everyone knows exactly what to do, where the base spots are and so on. the initial idea behind ASA was to fix ARK, fix cave meta, have a working dev support. thats what they were promising. now its the same game but worse

Dude as a long time ark player this was hard to watch.... i could tell you put so much into grinding and then to have the lag + aimbotter was just brutal :(. Keep going though mate you are defiantly one of the better solo ark pvp players
I’m in blue on cave on my server and got send a pic vid of a guy flying a argy into our base though a massive mesh hole you can grapple freely in the mesh all around in the mesh

Even at the end of ase you either joined a big tribe on ally server or got wiped constantly. There’s not a lot of reward for solo duo on small tribes.
I’ve thought a point system would help with the amount of players in each tribe might help. Solo 10x, duo 9x, trio 8x so on.
Not to mention finding a 6man tribe that are decent players Is very hard!!! So if you’re in one it’s much easier to hold a base and raid
R0ta I have the sickest rathole and beds work inside just fine, i would love to let you know about it. I've survived here for a week and still going and able to progress solo very well. The spot is absolutely amazing for a solo / duo / trio. can even throw out wyverns and such.

The jumping problem is from heatstroke but since it’s bugged it doesn’t show up. If you kill and respawn it fixes it

And to add to the cryo pod issue it's better, we can't say it's not, ppl don't get pocket gigaed anymore, you can't pocket a stego into the front of a cave, in my Opinion land bases should be how we have to play, it removes caves but opens up for tame sniping, theres gotta be a happy medium, caves are unreliable due to the cryo changes but not hard to drop tower after tower after tower it's been done on my server and we've done it to several other servers but when it comes to getting into a cave it's just boils down to who has the most resources to keep throwing into the choke points
The bed spawning is what gets me.. can spawn in ANY rathole with no issue on any bed in any rathole on PVE.. but PVP cannot.. it must be something related to pvp anti measures in place currently? And will hopefully be an easy fix as it has no issues on PVE
I'm glad I didn't buy it when it came out and was on a discount, seeing all the videos that show the bugs and cheaters makes it clear that ASA is currently not worth buying and probably will never be. The early access state of the game is also an indicator that they'll probably never complete it and just add half finished dlc and features while claiming, "it's still in early access what do you expect".
I thought I was the only person that had the worst luck, but no this game is hard lol love your style of ark vids.

Yo brotha not sure if you know but there are a few ratholes you can spawn in on se. I’ve had goodluck with the wyvern trench ones and a UA-camr named oj kezz (I think) has a pretty good one he was able to get a bed in.

Either that or it needs to be fixed.. im sure youve learned this by now, but soon as your picked, shoot whatevers picked you with grapple hook and it releases you.. like i said im sure you know this by now, but for everyone else, keep a grapple hook on the ready all the time now

ASA sucks. My friends are back to playing ASE. I played with them for a while but quit because all the players left are super sweaty guys from smalls and I'm not about that life these days (even account sharing on unofficial... imagine). I'll play ASA for Ab launch, but that's the only thing that could bring me back. It's too bad, I have a lot of great memories of ARK, but the game is pretty dead now. Oh well, I appreciate you serving up the content anyway.

u need ur own cryofridge nearby thats charged for at least 5 minutes to uncry dinos, and no enemy player or structure can be close to u

Tbf it wasnt great on Island on release, but now its almost impossible to mesh island. Unfortunately it looks like theyve released Scorched with zero Mesh protection also and will work on it overtime.. probbably due to the pressure of the community asking to release maps quicker
yea SE is so easy to mesh that i meshed myself a couple of times on accident. most pillars and basically every cave are easy to mesh... thats why noone understands these problems with not beeing able to spawn into beds on normal open world spots. and the community wasnt asking for ASA maps. they were asking for meta changes and way better dev support for ASE. but what we got was wildcard promising a lot of fixes for their new game ASA. rest is history...

if they dont want people building in ratholes they need to block them up, they are spending a ton more resources/money paying someone to wipe bases rather than fixing the map/ratholes, also if theyve said ratholes are unintended building spots and will wipe without warning and you build there knowing that, then you can blame nobody but yourself and WC needs to do a much better job than what weve seen. this is WC tho expectations are very low at the best of times
Now when I am done checking the island map, if so I can give u location on original Ark that u can't see base from sky , air or underworld because of location it's in, not a rat hole..now if play ark still well this place never been raid even though server had 65 ple and 40 man tribe never been found 3 yrs till they tok official off line

Es gibt so viele Sachen die sie besser hätten machen können um das Game für PVP Spieler schöner zu gestalten und es gab auch von der Community aus viele Vorschläge wie z.b das Artefakte auch in Drops oder in Alpha Dinos zu finden sind oder das es "Ratholes" von Wildcard selbst gestaltet gibt damit es mehr Base spots und hundert andere Sachen aber ne kauft Bobs tall Tales 👍

Why would they say that about rat holes when they have intentionally made ratholes on these sloped stone pillars?
i think either they didnt do any rathole intentionally.. or they made them on purpose at first but realised later that their anti mesh was making beds not work inside of those spots. as they dont want to put in work, they r now acting as if a rathole was always illegal :D
Bro, I was on my server with damn hackers for 2 weeks and finally yesterday I was able to raid them. I locked up the character so that at least they lose it
Every new DLC will break PvP balance. Remember when Extinction came out: Free element, disgusting managarmr, broken velonasaur... Scorched Earth and Aberration is almost nothing compare to Extinction and every new DLC released after. Imagine new pay to win creatures on Extinction and Genesis 1 & 2. Sad facts about ARK.

If you need a chair or a dino to get into a rathole? Then i´d say it´s fair game to red gun it, since it´s a mesh spot.. All other ratholes that you can just walk into should definetly be fair game.

on official, u cant spawn into ratholes. on single player and probably also on some unofficials u can spawn sometimes

basically any pvp server with people who arent raided when aim botter is there is basically admitting they pay cash to have a base defended by cheaters honestly they should recieve perma bans as well

Aim bots are rediculous, if they start wiping tribes for people it might make them double think about cheating
The only solution to cheaters is live admins but we all know Wildcard will never invest in such thing...I respect you as a player and know you do not associate with cheaters ,shame your 1x tribe do not share the same values since our server was spammed with a million tek gates and all our flak helmets were broken after their last visit

Rota I agree with you so much. I’m playing arkpoc and have an unraidable rathole. Kurtis and his tribe wiped my outside base but could not do anything about my rathole base. Of course I just had to watch them destroy everything since I could not spawn inside my own base. Trash game.

It’s beyond annoying anti cheat has to be incorporated into a game . How pathetic does someone have to be to feel any accomplishment from being a lame cheater . Tells you a lot of who they are as a person .
I struggle to understand how wildcard can’t realise ratholes are the single best thing keeping the game alive, more ratholes=more players bases survive, more ratholes=more bases for players to raid, more ratholes means more fun more raids less people get raided more people can build up quicker. I find it funny how the only people who don’t know what’s good for ark is wildcard, they keep coming up with the worst possible ideas for ark and time after time ruin there game. I don’t know if ur aware but there are about 10-12 of these big rock things on scorched earth that have a rathole at the top of them and most of them are very good base locations but not only can u not spawn in them but if u fly an argy into the side of any of them like simply just fly into the side you will go through the mesh and get right into the rathole making them the easiest raids ever. I know what I’m about to say is pretty impossible but I would love if the UA-cam ark community somehow could interview one of the main devs and have a talk about wtf they are doing on a serious level like if you or for example hod (as I know he is very involved in how awful the dev team is) could have a 1 on 1 discord call or something with a main dev cause I genuinely want to know there thoughts on everything about ark I wonder if they think there game is good and they are doing the right thing, I would love to see you ask them stuff like how in the world do they think making ratholes illegal is a good idea at all, ask them how they haven’t managed to fix things, ask them about the fact random tames anti mesh and disappear just at random points on the map, ask them why at random times your character can’t JUMP (how u mess up being able to jump I don’t know) ask them how SIMPLY FLYING AN ARGY INTO A WALL MAKES YOU GLITCH THROUGH AND GET INTO THE MESH, ask them why in gods name they think a fire wyv being able to breath you off your tame is in any situation a good idea, I originally thought the dev team all had an iq of 20 but some of these ideas and things aren’t even 20 iq there like 10iq. If u do manage to interview one of them please tell them to think about it for more then 20 seconds before they add the most brain dead, stupid, game breaking addition or change to the game.

Official ark is not meant to be played solo, solo players dont online raid, they just disrupt the farm from real tribes and offline people. As more maps come out (especially extinction) we will see their intent with asa and it’s to make 6v6+ scenarios better
its the same as saying that small tribes isnt meant to be played as a 6 men tribe as whoever is account sharing with more people is determined to win a war in the end xD and ur "real tribes" are only the big megatribes or what do u mean? :D the whole system is flawed

They fixed this in some spots I only know this cause I joined my serv and died from heat and the bed in my spot showed up and let me spawn in
no they didnt fix that at all. u cant spawn into 95% of the ratholes on official. in single player its different, and on unofficial it can be different too
