A lot of player scavs on Shoreline, running towards high tier loot spawns and vaulting into rooms. Also experiencing more player scavs on streets lately, way more than pmcs atleast. Lighthouse is also infested with player scavs, just like previous wipes
I've never died to more player scavs in any of the previous wipes combined. I felt like they were cheating at some points because of the insane shots they would hit with the worst ammo. Haven't wore less than tier 4 armor minus the first week and get penned by 20 pen ammo constantly. Makes no sense.
they should add some max player scav spawn amount because on lighthouse and streets especially you can kill armies of players but all it does is open new slots for players scavs to spawn.
Nothing like grouping you with 9 of your closest scav buddies and bumrushing a poor pmc that dared to stay more than 8 minutes into an interchange rais
The normal scavs are absolutely crazy this wipe. Scavs are tanking headshots left right and center and also just tank crazy amounts of bullets. One example is that I was shooting at a scav with 5.45 BT ammo, the scav had NO ARMOR, still, after 10 hits, probably in the thorax, the scav didn't die and shot me in the face with 7mm. I didn't die from the 7mm in the face tho, no, it penetrated my lvl. 5 armor in my chest and THAT is what got me killed. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with scavs, but it's honestly way too terrifying to come across scavs now for absolute bullshit reasons.
I've been bitching about player scavs on Reserve, Streets and Lighthouse for the last year or so. Way too many, way too early in the raids. I only play night raids. It's a balance issue. Player scavs are an integral part of the game, but they don't play by the same rules as PMCs, so if you flood the maps with them, they fuck up the eco system basically. Why would I risk my PMC when I can just circumvent risk vs reward and reap basically the same rewards with my scav for free?
I know a lot of people will be against this but personally I'd love to see it changed to where you can't pick the map you scav into but get put into a random one instead, I think it would solve a lot of these issues.
I just had everything I needed to complete five tasks as long as I survived the raid on customs and right as I was going to extract I shoot a scav in the head who is 25 m away at least and see that he threw a granade and it went straight up in the air and I ran the other way. And there's no way in hell that grenade was anywhere near me and I blew up and died and lost all 5 tasks. F this game dude
Player scavs are basically smurfs with nothing to lose, they MIGHT have worse gear (and not even always, spawned with a thermal sight a few days ago at lighthouse) but they are more, they (might) know how to play and because they lose nothing by dying they can just swarm you throwing themselves to the meat grinder, doesn't matter if you kill 1 cause next one is going to just do the same and trade kills with you, you might win 4 duels against them but only matters that you lost once
I died yesterday to a scav with 12/70 Poleva slugs. I was wearing class 4 armor, and after action was hit in the thorax. The major point of protection on all armors. The issue is that the ballistics of those rounds with class 4 should do absolutely nothing but tickle me, but because it's an AI scav, it might as well have been AP20. Crazy
That’s crazy almost like most of the coverage is soft armor and those slugs gave around %50 chance of pen on class 2. absolutely wild huh. Almost like that was expected and armor doesn’t make you invincible.
@justbandit5572 I was wearing a ghzel that has plates and soft armor. With sapis added on the sides. Per review, the soft srmor is a static 3, and plates are base 5, so it wasn't even class 4. If i was wearing soft armor, sure id understand the snark.

Any amount of things could have happened, tbf. i just felt it was highly unusual, considering my armor and how I took the fight. I do really like the armor changes. Being able to slip hi pen rounds in between plates makes my insides feel all warm and fuzzy.

1:49 i'm genuienly baffled at what enemies some streamers / youtubers are getting. Today i played 2 macthes, and the enemy, legeit 1 tapped me head-eyes, in two raids in a row, in the second I could shoot once. Trying to do Setup, and i'm literally getting enemies from hell with 2k+ hours in the game. (I'm not even at 200)
They nerfed hip firing, I think alit of seasoned players are having difficulty adapting. ADS is more accurate now which should be the case if going for realism, your odds of hitting anything beyond 25 feet IRL with hip fire are slim to none, this was actually one of the things I had hated about the game last season where you come to find it pointless to waste time ads, I would hit people at 30m with hipfire no problem which was dumb as fuck

just IMHO , first kill you turn around and he guy was already pointing at you and the other behind the door with a lot of scavs deads the one that kills you was knee on the floor
I've played pretty much only scav this wipe (brand new player and not confident so I want the practice) and I've spawned in with PACAs tons of times, and even a few Kirasas and 6B23s, maybe even a 6B13 once? Not to mention plenty of AKs, SKSes, a Saiga-12 with a drum mag, and some VOG grenades. I only have around 0.2-0.3 scav karma. It's a bit nuts especially considering scavs could potentially find better ammunition for their gun on larger maps, meaning they could be roughly equivalent to low-mid tier PMCs.
@@theguyonyoutube4826 Never said it was great, just said it was pretty strong relative to low-mid tier PMCs. Especially with the new changes to armor hitboxes, scavs have a strong fighting chance.
To be fair he's kinda right. Before you level up to ragman 2 and open up the flea market you can pretty much use only garbage armor while some scavs can spawn with a fucking Gzhel. I think I shouldn't explain why a scav having a class 5 top tier armor is kinda odd having in mind that our PMC is way under equipped in that bracket.
wait till you get 6.0 scav rep. i spawn with lvl 4 armor almost every raid, sks' with BP ammo, labs keycard on 70% of my scavs and i've gotten a few thermal kits so far.
I go around in reserve voiping cheeki breeki haunting pmcs in the bunkers. It's not unusual to find a lot of other player scavs willing to rush all together those filthy usecs
Love your content Jesse, but I have to say you play a lot in squads and I find that cheating. You save your buddies gear, share keys, and you can progress farther than you would if you were alone. Just my two cents. I think Tarkov should be solo.

What people complain about is spawning with a fucking stack of 7.62 BP ammo which is essentially unobtainable for the vast majority of the player base, we are stuck with peashooters while scavs can one, maximum two tap an altyn, fort reduts, gen4's... Everything top tier, nice. Balance.
@@Radiance141 Yep, ontop of that armor being practically useless now and recoil practically none exsistent on even the most barebones guns means player scavs can now take you out almost just as easily as the most heavily geared PMC's.

I been getting dookied on by player scavs. A few times a player scav squad wiped us. Man, fuckin Chad scavs I guess. Kind of insane.

Tbh, most enjoyable part of tarkov rn is extract camping player scavs. Reserve and streets work best.

Well you'd be wrong, Nikita himself has stated numerous times that Tarkov is a squad game and that playing solo is an intentional disadvantage.

I have never had more fun playing as a scav in Escape from Tarkov. BSG is doing the right thing. The player interactions are always so much fun.
