You also need two independant springs mounted to support welding pins
you have wired your trigger straight to your starter relay? remove live wires from the remote switch, only use the switch wires as a trigger input for the relay to switch the starter relay. if that's not possible you should change your relay delay circuit for a circuit that only triggers the relay remotely with switch input
Out of curiosity why is it a bad thing to wire the switch straight to the starter relay? Just asking because I want to learn stuff, not questioning anything you stated.
@@Jarsalla yeah so usually, there is no "power" going though the switch. The switch only closes a circuit, which in turn tells the "delay circuit" to activate (close the relay), start counting and when it has counted down from set time, should open the relay, whether you have your trigger avtivated or not, should not matter. You can hold the trigger for 10 seconds but it should only activate for the set time on your delay circuit. I am not really super good at these things either, but know some basics. But i have no idea really what's going on with the wires here in this video :p with that said, something might be happening here which i am not seeing.

Just watched several videos on this matter & truly it's the best I've seen thus far, good job using the proper items as well so thanks I'll probably make this one. Only other way I'd like to have one would be made with a car charger so never having to recharge the battery backup, you think you can make one like that? I bet you could & would love to see one made that way, have a great day.

@@homemadecreativee he might have meant to have a 12v trickle charger on the battery so it'd be able to recharge without having to lift the battery terminals. Maybe with a 12v barrel connector with it wired to the terminals

In that wiring diagram I belive your missing switch on foot petal. Also didn't see you wire in the DC plug on red side board.

Did You Done Correct Wiring ?? Try To Change the Output Wires Of Relay (In Timer Relay Module There Are 3 Pins of The Relay, Middle Is Common, and the Other Two Try To Swap From Left To Right or Right To Left That Second Output Wire That Goes To Big Relay)

use a "Momentary Switch NO", that will eliminate the timmer circuit, no need to use it

Your solenoid is slipping! try to NOT power it from the battery, use other power supply for the solenoid so that when the battery is shorted it won't switch off!
Agreed. Or i guess just using a diode should solve the problem, the capacitor in the timer circuit should not get discharged so that the circuit does not get reset due to power loss

You use some expensive parts. A generic car starter solenoid is $20 and good for 200A.

Bro, you have used 12v 32Amp battery, can I use 12v battery pack made out lithium battery which can range from 4amp to 10amp? i.e 3s4p battery pack?
hi, a 32amp lead acid has much higher C rating than lithium pack. So best to avoid the lithium battery pack. You can use RC lithium battery pack as those give out like 50C rating, etrc. Bottomline is that you need 200amp output to weld.
the 32 amp 12v battery most likely 7-10C rating, so capable of 32x7 = 224amp output
if you using a secondhand car battery, it must be able to start car, otherwise weld will be very bad. Battery with low voltage sag when under load is required.
