I believe she is referring to the gauge of the knitting machine. For example if you have a Brother machine, you will most likely have a metal bed in ‘Standard’ (4.5mm) or ‘Bulky’ (9 mm), or you might have a plastic machine (KX-350) with mid-gauge (7 mm). If you are a handknitter, the yarn weight and needle size will be much more variable... with every size in between depending on the needle size and yarn weight.
Hi, thanks for this video's. my family just acquired one and just have a quick question. when in set position and pressing the pedal you can hear the engine working and the stitching needle moving, but it does not spin at all so I am not sure what my family is doing wrong. thanks for any help
