Good morning: once again I wish to notify you that I do not miss a single program of yours. deep analysis. The historical games that you choose so skilfully are of special interest, not only because of their intrinsic beauty, but also because they are the basis of contemporary chess. Thank you very much for the entire corpus.

I find the photo on the top right side of the board reveling : Geller, like a boss, lights up his cigarette. 😃

What a game! Thank you for your crystal-clear analysis.
I think your channel is probably the only one that only shows Karpov defeats, and none of his victories 🙂

Brilliant positional game! Geller is a very under-rated player. He gave Fischer quite a bit of trouble during the Palma de Mallorca Interzonal Tournament, and he continued to be a nuisance to world champions into the 70s

at 6:38 when you sac the 3 pawns how do you know that the attack is strong enough? There are no tactics to win back material from there. How can you justify the sac without any tactics?

White has such an overwhelming advantage, that even without calculating variations it's possible to conclude that Black won't hold this position. When it comes to concrete tactics, White has multiple threats. For example, White can play Neg6 (with tempo opening the e file), followed by Re1, after which the e6 pawn will fall, which will lead to a King hunt. Besides that, the only developed black piece, namely the bishop on a3 is loose, so in case the black queen doesn't defend it, White can also play Qa4+, winning the bishop.
