Jude thanks for sharing the gear you are using. I am with Sony A7III and Fuji x100vi (have x100v for daily use). At some point will jump over the Fuji XT version once my Sony will be game over 😉
No worries mate. Don't hear anything bad about the Sony A7III. Technically, I would imagine it is better than the fuji xt5 but it all depends on how much you care about these things. For me, the size and weight is just as important due to how I approach a wedding. I can't wait to get a Fuji X100VI :)
As someone who uses a Nikon Z camera I completely understand the comment on size and weight 🤣 I tried the Sony alpha a7 III but the menus are just overkill, I’d love to try some Fuji cameras and see the difference - I love the style of them. My only concern is the sensor size for low light scenarios - would you say the Fuji is better than a Nikon APS-C? I’d love to hear your opinion on it. Great shots at the most recent wedding too! (Gloria & Dom) love the reaction shots you captured.
I think we spoke about this before at the wrestling show Dan. The sensor side of stuff was 100% an issue with the XT2 and that's why I sold it and went back to Nikon. Now we have the XT5 it is miles ahead and I can't comment on a camera I haven't used (Nikon Z series) but if you go on UA-cam there is plenty of videos comparing the two and lots of photographers say there is no difference. For me, I can comment on the difference between XT3 and XT5 and the XT5 is insane in low light compared to XT3 which is incredible considering the XT5 is only slightly heavier than the XT3.
