I turn 19 in a week and I have a weak chin. The side parts of my jaw are pretty square, but the chin is tiny and I fucking hate it. Saved up roughly half the money so far from my part time job, but it costs 12-20K here in New Zealand. Everyone's telling me not to do it, but I don't give a fuck. I think the left wing of my chin implant is @ 1 cm too high above the inferior, bottom edge of my jaw line, which I read is where it should be. Shouldn't the wings be exactly on the lower inferior (bottom) edge of the jawline? It's also palpable on the left, I think since the dissection was too far above the bone/too close to the skin. Can it be removed and replaced with a deeper dissection, closer to the bone and @ 1 cm lower so it follows my jaw line & isn't palpable? Since it's too high above the jaw line it also feels like it's pulling up the skin, which is slightly painful. My surgeon says it's not too high, but I measured & it's definitely 1 cm above the bottom jaw bone line, & I read it's critical it follows the jaw line or the wing can migrate upwards & it's already too high & fear it could migrate more upwards.
