This is amazing that we can do this in vr. But i always get jealous on how kids a 100 years from now are gonna have vr that's 10x better than this. What kids who lived before wish they could do. future people will actually get to do it.
I started playing with my friends today and I was practicing before they got on. And we did a little race. And I got the smoothest swings out of all of them. Which was pretty nice to experience since I wasn’t spamming the webs and looking goofy. Thank you for the tutorial you made this game much more enjoyable❤
Quick thing to note. If you are doing the fast sling shot launch, don't keep doing it once you're already at high speeds, this game doesn't have a top speed and I found myself launching out past the sky barrier and almost crashed.

Sadly I can’t even play the spider lair without nearly crashing when high in the air or looking towards the pizza place, I have the quest 2 it’s very unfortunate that it’s that laggy now a days
When I played it I tried swinging more like this and the webs felt like that had SO much “slack” that I couldn’t do much at all, to the point that that little move you did where you shot two webs down to pull yourself down was shocking to me because I tried something similar and literally couldn’t pull myself down because of how much “slack” there seemed to be in the webs (which obviously got worse as I fell further due to gravity which obviously made it impossible after the initial attempt)
the most useful thing to me was the climbing up the building thingies lmaoooo I just get almost on top of Smth and then I just accidentally swing too much but not in a straight like upward motion 💀💀💀
overall the swinging is kinda shit unless you spend a while, if you hit the floor theres no slight running you loose all momentum and even then its hard to regain it.
i found it freezing constantly whenever i tried to shoot webs and even when it didnt, my webs took forever to come out and had me loosing all the momentum that iwasted my time on. its generally not that good cause theres no real way to start getting good especially since im just basically slowly floating when im swinging.
But when you pull yourself up do you have to put a lot of force? Every time i try that the web extends and I hit the ground unless I'm like 30+ ft high up.
I don’t play vr chat at all, but I found this map and wanted it to play it so bad, and I did, but is there a way to play on the map by yourself? Also how do you climb up walls? Is there a button I’m not pressing?
I can’t help but feel like this is actually how Spiderman swings.
Most likely would make sense bc tbh remember the web fluid isn't infinite he needs to save as much as possible as you can

but when i open the Spider Menu, theres no such thing as ''Impact Web'' and i cant pull myself up, is there anything i can do to fix this?

I always feel like the webs stretch way too much and I end up hitting the ground or a building
i tend to try and shoot my web further up to avoid that. youll get used to it

That's not the normal experience. I have a quest 2 and never run into any issues and have friends on quest 2 who play often

I have a Quest 2 and can confirm you can swing
My biggest problem is smacking into the ground thinking my web is long enough
used to have that problem too, start aiming webs higher than you think you should and thatll start to help

When you open you menu on your left hand in the world theirs an option under the control options between a thwip and the default
