My copy of the of the Tattoo Tarot the 9 of swords card does have 9 swords, I counted the sword hilts. There are 3 hilts/swords in the center above the eye, and 2 hilts below the eye. Then 6 hilts/swords on the outside of the eye. There are also 9 stars on the 9 of swords that are the same shape. My eight of swords has 8 hilts/swords and 8 stars of the same shape.I always enjoy your videos, and am working with my Tattoo Tarot for the month of May. I usually watch some video's of the Tarot I am working with to gain different perspectives.
Saw that with the 9 of swords there is a type of eye with blades around it - so see that as different to the 8 of swords which has a star symbol in the centre of the card 😊 Think the symbol on the 9 of swords is a chakram - a circular type of blade weapon which would be the ninth blade for the card
Hey, Lisa! Jules just made a comment on my Tattoo Tarot vid that she thinks the "bladed eye" on the 9 of Swords appears to be a "Chakram," a kind of Chinese Throwing Star ... And, I think she makes a point! (Looked in their LWB but it said nothing about a Chakram, nor throwing star, alas. Just beginning to work w/this deck and really loving it!) Post script: "Now, quick: Who's gonna tell Simon?!?"
I saw your vr and loved the deck but wasn't sure after I read about that, Im really glad you came back to go through this, as Im learning Marseille this is really interesting to me, you are a fantastic teacher and I would love a series on Marseille thank you Gx
Thanks so much for watching! Yes - working with pips is a whole thing - and can really deepen one's practice. It can also be frustrating as hell! How are things working for ya? xoxo
@@MindfulTarot Very well, thank you! I was surprised how much I've been enjoying it. Learning new ways of looking at familiar meanings is exciting! It helps that the cards are so beautiful...
I just commented upon Simon's comment (upon YOUR comment in the first vid), lol! It's a "curious error," and I appreciate Simon and his enlightening us about it ... yet, still: I love the deck.
Forever more shall I remember your interpretations for the 8 and 9 Sword pips on this deck. Kinda cool, I think 😉 Especially the "eye" on the 9 of Swords, for a similar Eye is on the cover of the box. IMA make a VR vid to yours, right now ... Thank you, Lisa. ⛄👊🎅
Thanks you so much for this very helpful lessons, I just ordered this desk of Tarot. Are you planning to do some another video of this Tarot from your practice work with them, If you can and have time and power to do them it's will be very interested and help to get more details dipp in this desk and Marseille Tarot. Sorry for my English, I am from Ukraine. My best wishes for you. You are so great .I love your video of Tarot.
It's so easy to lose contact - and to go deep into the cave. It's nourishing to go inward, but if it's all that I do - my heart wilts and suffers. Big hugs, dear Fru Luna!
10:29 look again for you - the two cards shown for this particular deck are exactly the same except for what is at the centre of the cluster. This has been corrected in later editions, where it appears that the 9 of swords appears to have a double handled sword top center.
Awww - thanks so much Annalisa. I missed being here. It can be hard to keep on top of things when life is full of its twists and turns, but this community is so beautiful - because of folks like YOU! xoxo Happy 2019

Eagle eye! Mindful tarot jumps to conclusions?
Basically the top middle has two swords not one the front it's just covering the back one partially thank you for pointing this out!
@@explorativesam9805 maybe they are different printing editions?? or different printing runs??
@@tinyheart3 :) !
It was corrected and reprinted. In the video the ninth hilt is missing, but they must have corrected soon after. My copy also has the ninth hilt.

interesting - I don't know what a chakram is but that's a GREAT reading!
I think the eye/the gaze is that 9th sword/blade. A look can cut. Very symbolic. I love your interpretation.

I know. With the Moon and the Hermit as birth cards it is easy to be too introspective. Must work on that. Thanx, dear!
There is actually 9 swords on the 9 of swords look at the center sword again
