There are quite a few different factors. Without seeing your van, I wouldn’t wish to say. The best advice is to have an annual habitation check, like an MOT for the camper features of the van. If a conversion company can carry this out, they can also check the installed components also, like Lewis mentioned the bed. Are the wheels and tyres load rated? Has the gas hob been fitted as per the manufacturers instructions with the correct clearance above? Making sure it has the smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher etc. which some vans aren’t supplied with.
Trapping a live wire under a bolt should not produce a fire. Cables should be fused. Fuses protect the wiring not the appliance. Sometimes they require fusing at both ends. This is required when using B2B's or VSR's because there is a power source at both ends.
There is more than one. That is an easy test when viewing the van, just give it a tap. The other corner cutting savings require looking behind the scenes. I will be doing a full video on this in the future
Brilliant video, one of the best camper van channels out there!

Who was the company you saw that didn’t insulate the van? 👀

😎👍
See poor conversions everywhere, people pay a lot of money for them 😂
It’s crazy. I’m not sure how much is personal choice and how much is people now knowing 🤷🏻♂️
