The last part of it really invokes that for me. When she suspends Add's (the little box guy's) "pseudo-personality", she is temporarily gaining access to the true power of Rhongomyniad, and her personality is temporarily lost, replaced by a replication of Artoria's.
btw, that's not how scythes work. You're essentially hitting your target with the tip of the scythe when you do that, and not actually cutting it. Not unless the scythe blade is bladed on both sides.

Dude, of all the saber face, she is the pitiful one. She was basically a victim of experiment done by her hometown. The reason why she use coat so much is to hide her face and when Waver sees it he kind hate and disgust it, but he still wants to help her, so he took her in.
