Except Haq Se SIngle, I have watched all his specials. But this special is different and I have watched it twice in two different cities! Both live shows were absolutely amazing! There was a moment where my stomach was hurting while laughing!
(I am a big fan of Zakir, but...) I went to watch MannPasand live with the expectations of something even better than Tathastu. And I was disappointed. After the show the whole crowd gave a standing ovation, but I didn't. Now don't get me wrong, the show is very good. Its on same level of Kaksha Gyarvi. But Tathastu is where zakir peaked (but this statement is also incorrect as the genre was different). The whole point of telling this is, that I am amazed by the self awarness of Zakir, in the teaser itself he "managed/set" the expectation right. "Par ye show tathastu nahi hai." Toh babu Tathastu ki expectations se mat aana!!!! I can also relate the same situation to a recent movie, where most people watched "the Railway Men" with the expectations of getting to revisit the Bhopal Tragedy. But the name of the movie is "The Railway Men" not "Bhopal Tragedy", so they were sad as their expectations weren't met.
He is an absolute veteran in the stand up feild. The face of stand up comedians in India. No doubt he is so good at this💯
