Nowdays is difficult to find silence when all around us is noise i love to run to eucharistic adoration for silence and love in the presence of the prince of peace our great healer Lord Jesus in adoration. He is in silence highly hear in my heart. Receiving healing from him in silence adoration as a refuge and as a remedy to the daily routine destructive noise.
I love to go to a silent adoration while our priest is having confessions but unfortunately some people insist on saying the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet out loud during Adoration. People need silence to reflect prior to confession and after to complete their penances. I will join in these devotions prior to Mass but not during Adoration. I need silence to listen to God.
So sorry for the noise in our lives. Lord, help us to keep silence, interiorize and communicate in silence to what our Lord wants us to do. Help me be a true Prayer Warrior
What a powerful reflection for us esp living in this combative, noisy and wounded world. To achieve these 3 phases of silence, to simply live to a great stillness and allow an emptying of any worldly desire. I’ve read somewhere that silence is the loudest scream one can have to hear our interior ourselves. To create the environment from any clutter and cleanse ourselves from anything that shouldn’t be in us, only then , we can see what’s ahead to create what we need most for us but reconcile ourselves to our God who’s our only hope in this difficult times. Give me that peace, O Lord, that we so desire. Thank you, Fr Bing, for this dauntingly powerful reflection. God loves you and we do love you. God bless🙏

🌻 We can only hear God in the silence of our heart. We will not be able to hear God as He speaks to us in a whisper ......and not in a thunderous voice! If we are preoccupied with the events around us...the chaos,violence,injustice, loss of faith due to weak leadership and erroneous teachings of false shepherds of the Church....then , we will not have peace since our emotions of anger,helplessness,frustrations might overcome us. Yes Fr Bing....we need to maintain and keep our exterior......interior silence....that we may attain the virtue of creative silence infused with the wisdom of God. Thank you Father even before the pandemic my life had been silent. My son and my grandchildren being far away from me leading me to pray unceasingly: morning and evening prayers and ejaculatory prayers during the day. Not sure 🤔 if this is good even watching TV for 2-3 hours can be overwhelming. Hope this is okay. But I do agree to listen to the voice of God from him or through our guardian angel, the Blessed Mother and the saints silence is absolutely necessary.

Creative silence is when I invite the Holy Spirit to fill my heart, Jesus dwells in my heart. External & internal silence is important. In creative silence my words touch the heart of the people, in doing good, in forgiving others... I pray to reach this level of silence. I now understand that without silence the presence of the Holy Spirit, it becomes hard to love as I ought to, to instruct the ignorant, to admonish the sinner, to console, to bear patiently the wrong inflicted in me, to pray for the living & the dead & to hear God = Spiritual acts of mercy.
We appreciate this innovation to share with us spiritual readings since we do not have access to such great books; and, even if we do, we are not able to understand them well. God bless the work of your hands, Fr. Bing. Please pray for us. Thank you. :)

very great sharing Father, i have to admit while we are praying the rosary, at time i have chatter, but i focus on looking upon (and image) of our MARY a JESUS.. ..I leave my thoughts elsewhere, and re-focus on our SAVIOR and our Mother.

Although we have already learned this during our retreat with you, I appreciate this so much as you remind us once again of the Power of Silence. What a good lesson indeed! I hope and pray that I will persevere only in doing good thru ''silence'' in the heart though oftentimes there is a strong urge to defend myself amidst disturbance that surrounds me, whether it's someone falsely accusing me or someone fault finding in whatever I do. May God give me the grace to curb my tongue and practise the three kinds of silence you taught us in this episode. May I always remain in the peace of Christ!

Father I like and need your talk on "Power of Silence" then ...up to the point on St Joseph who talked very little and loves to sleep, so JESUS talked to him in his sleep! So what some naturally talk less and prepare to work hard without concern for others but passive for others .... then on to your talk Wow, Holy Spirit I stopped listening & went back to listening to our talk ...here I would listen to finish your talk AMEN & Thanks You !
