Weathering!
As far as I'm concerned, this is a form of art. Therefore, very subjective. There is no right or wrong answer to the finished model.
What this means to me is, if you are happy with what you've done, its correct. If not, start over!
I know I'm not great at this, there a plenty that are far better than me. I'm not afraid to have a go though, and nor should you be!! Have fun 👍👍
That work really is impressive and has spurred me on with my rolling stock.
Many thanks for this and all your other videos. They really inspire
That looks brilliant. Thank you for sharing that.
You're welcome 👍
Bravo !
Top job mate 👍😁
I did wonder where this was going to end up, but kudos to you, I was impressed. Thanks for sharing 👊
These are fantastic and just the beginners tutorial I was looking for 👍🏻
Nice, useful video with no damned music - that's worth a sub.
I thought that the result was brilliant, great video!
Magnificent !
Just came across this, what a brilliant way to weather coal hoppers. Before each of the paint and hairspray applications were you leaving the previous stages of the weathering to dry properly as well as the final Grey coat of paint, I ask because I would like to try this technique on my own hopper wagons.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Michael
good job! subbed!
Superb ! The wash ...is it just thinned down Humbrol paint ?
Skullandrumit no. It’s - ammo mig dark wash A.MIG-1008. You could use very diluted humbrol paints or even oil paints thinned down does the same thing. I just like using lots of different stuff!!
