Wow, Marina really has an incredible attention to detail when it comes to these miniatures. It's so impressive how she manages to pull off such great detail in such a tiny scale. She truly is a unique artist!
I really like this! In forth grade they took us on a field trip to the Walter's art museum and that was the very first time I saw a miniature and I was amazed. She is awesome! And it sounds like she's self taught. Pure Genius!!!!! God bless you more and more.
Marina radiates so much compassion for her art. She seems to be a super interesting and fun person to be around. Wish her all the success with her incredible miniatures.
I am a movie armour maker. But outside of the film world I am known for making miniature suits of armour, all in steel and all FULLY articulated, which now live all over the world. All of which I was able to do without the need of too much space!! However... Since I started playing around with stop-motion and making shorts and music-videos I have outgrown my current premises. It's not the making of them, but its the storing and the filming of them! I am sitting on a crate containing a flying carriage as I type this!! Prior to my doing this I never really understood why studios break-down sets right after filming... they need the space to make the next world!! Great thought-provoking video Narcity. Marina CLEARLY has an AMAZING eye for proportion! BRAVO Best wishes from a secret location in a French forest 🇬🇧⚒🇨🇦
Wow! I love it when people with an unreal amount of talent can so clearly explain what they do, and the passion just pours out. It's a genuinely rare talent. It's really inspiring!
This was a wonderful interview. I too, am a miniaturist and create dioramas using trash. It's a whole other thought process in creating something so realistic looking in mini form. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this "glimpse" of a small but very cool part of "cinema making"... And for those who liked this I can't recommend "Slice of Life" UA-cam channel, where they use a highly imaginative mixture of techniques often very heavily dependent on miniatures of different kinds. Best regards
i have made a few dioramas .and when i made one i did it on a 3.75 inch scale as you can buy figures from toy shops and sometimes cheap store and make the clothes for them and change them . makes it easier than trying to create them . enjoyed the video . great work .
Do you know if the people moving in the frosted window in the laundromat were added in post production? or was there some kind of small screen playing videos?
Wow there's actually a market for this type of works? I've been always in love with miniature creations, dioramas, nativity scenes, etc, but have never seen the income potential for it. How do you get into this market?
meta-research released a product in conjunction with Maryland university which can make a 3-D human object file with color. There is a 3-D printer that in color.
This comment would be better if you explained. Its pretty pointless without an explanation, particularly as she describes the miniature scenes she has done for TV sets. Did you actually watch the video ??
maybe it's a woman thing? The more I think I have learned all that I need about the other sex is I do not know anything, I'm 70. I guess it is not gonna happen
There are miniature builders on UA-cam that puts her stuff to shame… she has been in film but couldn’t come up with the word perspective, little bit sus to me idk…
In a world saturated in CGI it’s truly nice to see crafts like this. Miniature works of art. 🖼️ 🌟
More than anything, im obsessed how articulate and clear she can describe her passion out through the words .

She's awesome, in her art and explaining what she's doing. She's great at painting the picture with words too!
I deeply relate to the aesthetic impulse expressed here, but in music. Vintage spaces, imagined spaces, expressionism through design.
Thank you Alex! ☺️
Instagram gang here! 🙌🏾
Marina you’re a star! Bravissima 😊
@marinaminis you are incredibly talented! ❤

I went to art school myself. And I have to say this looks like about the funnest job possible. Fantastic work!!!
Here work looks awesome. Wish the interviewer would have touched on how she made her dioramas.
So awesome what she can do. Really impressive. I adore her work. Quite cool to live for your dream. Keep up the good work.
I think I’m in love with her and her work.

What a fun way to make a living
Superbe créations mais, de réussir à en vivre, bravo !
Amazing
She never specifically said how long it takes to do each project - for either situation.
Remember when George Costanza made a diorama of the conference room he was working in?
WOW
SO DOPE
Miniatures are the best thing in the universe. LEGO give the same vibes.
What of of paint and Brushes she used
UA-camr MarkusPix made miniatures also for Hollywood. He made a video Who am I. He did the miniatures for the movie Total Recall back in the day.
I prefer 1000% this over CGI (looks more realistic because is REAL)
I still miss Harry Hansen. 😢
amazing young lady, so much fun.
What is the smallest scale you have achieved in a model?
Thinking big by starting out small.
meta-research released a product in conjunction with Maryland university which can make a 3-D human object file with color.
There is a 3-D printer that in color.
wow
Love this❤. AI will Never be as Original as you.😂
make small?

apollo
The background music is annoying and unnecessary
I know…annoying!
It would blend better if the reporter was singing to the beat.
Art miniatures and movie miniatures are two very different worlds. She is not a movie miniature builder

Feel so sorry that these guys will have to close shop when AI comes a calling 😢
Doesn't know what the word "simp" means.
Noun.
Not a verb
Darkness & Isolation, you could have kept that to yourself & just talked about minaitures
maybe it's a woman thing? The more I think I have learned all that I need about the other sex is I do not know anything, I'm 70. I guess it is not gonna happen
I got sumthin miniature for ya.... hehehe...
So.... 2023.... no need for this anymore😥
