- So this is maybe the most requested one. tried our best as always. Lyrics gathered from different sources, but mostly LN. Hope we did it justice.
This could’ve been a perfect hidden track on in utero
Shit, it could of been released on Incesticide.
As this song was only played once as an Improvise Jam October 30, 1992.
And when Bleach was originally Released in 1989 it only had 11 Tracks (Big Cheese was only available on the Love Buzz/Big Cheese single) and Downer was unreleased....
And in 1992 DGC Re-Released Bleach with Big Cheese And Downer both on it...
And December 15, 1992 Incesticide was released and they had Downer as Track 10.. so it's kinda dumb in 1992 they released Downer on the Reissue of Bleach and on Incesticide....
I always thought that sometime in November Nirvana should of went to Laundry Room Studios (Dave Grohl's friend Barrett Jones Studio) and record a studio version of Nobody Knows I'm New Wave and released it on Incesticide as track 10 instead of Downer since Downer was released on the Reissue of Bleach.
I think that on Incesticide track 9 "Beeswax" track 10 "Nobody Knows I'm New Wave" track 11 "Mexican Seafood" would of been a awesome Tracklisting....
But I agree it would of fit on In Utero as well. As most of In Utero are old songs anyways.

Did you do it justice? Hmmm....I believe you did. We'll never have kurt singing but versions made with love and care for the song is the next best thing. Well, Dave and krist and pat and a passionate singer is actually the next, but this scenerio is the one next right after that and thats pretty good if you ask me. Great job!
