    I've always wanted to see if there's a fighter out there that could show us the best of Crawford💯. Errol just couldn't. He kept launching forward missing and even when he landed it either just didn't hurt Crawford or Crawford just shielded himself and errol ended up feeling like this guy is just unbeatable. Errol got caught hard inbetween punches and he got countered by "Bud each time he tried his long jab. And Terrence didn't even switch stances, sweat or even step up to the last fast gear😳

  • @RodneyDavis
    @RodneyDavis Рік тому +1

    1. It's not the south-paw stance that threw off Errol's timing. It's the stiffness, pinpoint timing, and 2-inch advantage reach of Bud, coupled with the fact that he came up with a plan to use his left hand and footwork to push Errol off-center while still being ready to hit with his own jab. He did this at least 10 times each round and Errol just couldn't understand what was happening to him.
    2. It's also not correct to say that Bud wasn't throwing his jab with much commitment while Errol was. Just the opposite. Bud changed the entire way he jabbed in this fight from a flick-jab to a stiffer counter-jab PRECICELY as a commitment for it to take away Errol's greatest strength. If anyone knows Derick in person please give him this:
    *The only thing errol could do during the rematch to improve his odds against a fast counter puncher like Crawford is to keep all his punches hard and short. Also, if you gonna jab Crawford then you need to use a floyd Mayweather kind of jab where you jab immediately as you move laterally or side by side like Floyd to avoid being countered and he should always protect his face which he's good at. I'm not sure why errol ended up neglecting to protect his head. Use all that and once you get Crawford hurt go back to your beast mode to attack then take a step back and go back to the first advice. No wasting energy.
    The funny part is even Shakur would've given Crawford a really hard time in that ring than what errol did. Saying that I was rooting for Bud. I just didn't want to see errol going out like that.
