I would love the devs to add fake hunts.
Imagine walking into Grafton only for the door to slam on the first guy in, lights start flashing and then it just giggles
@@senzer1625 wouldn’t real hunt be when the ghost itself appears physically? In fake hunts ghost wouldn’t be able to appear and kill you but in real hunt it can kill you
@@senzer1625 you've gotten the wrong impression. Think all the signs of a real hunt but much shorter, no death from ghost.
I know we now have an "All" button, but the next thing we need is an "[ ALL ]" button, if you catch my drift.

I don’t think it will be added as almost every game will be one person adding everything and having a lot to lose while everyone else has nothing at stake
Add a Split items button when playing with other people so the game can split the items between available players equally.

I played after the update with randoms and the high school map was much harder in my opinion. The rooms were very tricky to spot because the rooms all had varying temps. The ghost kept chain hunting us and two experienced players died even after hiding behind a desks. I’m not sure if this was due to the update but that game was insane asf. I’m still a fan of the update though because the game was too easy before.
I've had 3 out of 4 times that ghost orbs didn't appear in rooms (even after moving the camera) so we'd have to guess the ghost. Also the thermometer is pretty pointless. I only know if the room is freezing if I see my breath, otherwise it's almost useless now.
@@BooksToAshes Turning on the breaker should allow you to better find the ghost room. Letting you know in case you haven’t been doing that. Also, I get the ghost orbs thing. I was in Asylum with multiple cameras and did not see any orbs at all and ended up with the wrong ghost guessed.
the ghost know your last location so yeah, if the ghost right behind your tail, and you try to go to the classroom, the ghost literally see you go there, and will check it, with no locker and everything. doomed

They should add a hospital or a graveyard for a map or a abandoned hotel

This is something I've kept quiet about for a while, but a few people have mentioned they wanted a way to make the ghost angry.
Irl, it's not advised to use smudge sticks to cleanse an area. Smudging and White sage (the plant the smudge stick is made from) belong to Native American spiritual practices, and is not supposed to be used unless it is gifted to you by someone who is a part of that (closed) practice, or you yourself have been properly initiated in the practice.
On top of that, white sage (metaphysically) cleanses all energy, not just bad, not just good. Along with (probably) angering Native American spirits/entities.
That being said, the smudge sticks could be changed to provoke a hunt, rather than soothe the ghost, and maybe incense or candles could be used to keep the ghost from hunting.
I know no one wants them to be removed, and I've been scolded by my friends from putting this in the discord or messaging it to DK, but maybe this could be a future implementation.

What I would like to see is
1. A rework of photos, the more rare the photo is the more worth the photo is e.g. Dirty water and dead body should be worth more.
2. Add more photo types, to many photos are interaction, also not a big fan of photos of interaction when something is moved. In real life go explain to someone; in this photo the ghost moved the door, the response would be, I am sure he did... For interactions you should actually have a video camera setup of the room, but that is not really practical and being able to record a short video would not be easy as most likely the event would end before you hit record.
3. Add IR and UV cameras or a more advance full spectrum camera that can be toggled between the modes by changing the filters. This would allow adding ghost orbs as photo evidence, much better UV photos of fingerprints and foot print photos.
4. Add more item movement; walking giggling dolls, music boxes starting to play music, floating furniture, spelling out words with blocks, knives being thrown around and plates (breakable) more atmospheric/scary, I would like to see players being terrified being in a ghost room.
5. Candles should stay lit, and only have a chance to be blown out by the ghost or in areas where there should be a draft. Candles generally do not go out by them selves.
6. More different hunting mechanics than just one fast ghost, one semi fast, one semi invisible e.g. Wraith has a chance to pass through an obstacle when chasing a player. Mare should turn off all electric items when hunting, including your torch so you have loop in the dark. Jinn should be able to teleport to any room if the breaker is on to try and cut you off. Daemon or Oni should be able to travel on the ceiling and walls. Poltergeist could move items out its way or in your way. Phantom should have a higher chance of hunting while being invisible, especially if you try and take a photo of it during a hunt. etc.
7. Different strength ghost that are linked to the level you are playing on, so on professional you would have a higher chance of getting a more ancient/difficult ghost that has more abilities. This can be added as a bonus objective to find out the strength of the ghost.
8. Ability to upgrade the truck and lobby with all the extra money you make.
9. The cameras should also flicker on and off during a hunt.
10. Ghost should have a chance to mess with your equipment e.g. switch off or throw your camera around, teleport any item left on the ground to another location including video cameras as well, to make it even more difficult to discover the ghost.
11. Add a Split items button when playing with other people so the game can split the items between available players equally.
12. Change the Total Activity meter from having numbers to None, Low, Medium, High and Dangerous. None =0, Low = 1 - 3, Medium 4-6, High 7-9, Dangerous = 10.
Personally i like the fact DK went for a nice stable foundation over new content. Refreshing approach instead of pumping out new content and ignoring bugs.
True that! most games do the opposite which is trash. Hopefully this means the game will have a longer run because of the strong foundation its built
The only time I take thermo now is when it's prison, highschool, or asylum and someone else on the team is grabbing the breaker. If you cant find the ghost room by sound right away on the bigger maps, then the temps are usually raised enough to use the thermo.

It would be really cool if DK makes it so that if the the picked location is on the map is more North and/or the actual season of the real world being winter, the map starting temperature is affected, where in some cases basically every room is freezing (even when its not a freezing ghost) until you turn the breakers on and the heaters heat the room.

As an amateur ghost hunter in IRL, the changes to the thermo actually reflects real life. From what I've heard, the paramike changes also reflects IRL, but I cannot attest to that myself as real paramikes are _quite_ expensive.
@@ericdraven7185 Actually, ghosts and the supernatural (and by extension, miracles and divine powers) has not been definitively proven one way or another, altho I personally am more a scientific ghostbuster style hunter, or more accurately, investigator. Ye can say that I'm an open-minded sceptic.
It's not unusual for me to determine a "haunting" to be nothing more than something mundane as excessive EMF radiation or subsonics affecting the psychophysiology of the clients. Once I've determined a ghost to be merely a rat infestation running around in the location at night.
BUT, at the same, I had run across a few cases where I couldn't find a natural explanation as to what's going on. Yet, I haven't encountered any unambiguous case where the supernatural is the only *proven* answer. But logic says ye cannot prove a negative, so as the saying goes: the search continues.

I _have_ my own set of ghost hunting equipment, including the thermo, spirit boxes, full spectrum cam (IR thru optical to UV), IR cam, several EMF readers, full spectrum audio scanner/recorder (10Hz to 75kHz) and other tools of the trade. So I can confidently attest to the realism of the tools used in the game. Altho the game spirit box is rather simplified compared to how real spirit boxes works. The EMF reader is almost identical to the basic model that's available.

I got that bug once and it was one of the hardest games i've played
Also got the infinite ghost hunting twice when the host left! one in bleisdell where we figured out the ghost/got all obj. with the ghost hunting cause the front door glitched and we could walk out. Got it on Prison where the ghost spawned in a corner and ghost stuck it also couldnt kill us when we touched it; we got stuck inside cause door was locked cause of hunt and after piling objects from around the map onto the ghost we managed to get it to teleport around which made the front door spin and we managed to get out. Weirdest game ever.

after this update me and my friend started a match on a house and after we found the ghost tipe we hide in a drawer for one hour and the ghost couldn t catch us.we had a shit tone off fun

They should add a quick play option where you’ll join a random server immediately, as well as having the ability to filter servers based off of region (not just eu or us, but also east coast, west coast, etc), difficulty, map and ping.
Another thing could be having map rotations for when you finish a job. The game will immediately start after a certain amount of time (you could set a designated amount before the game starts), and having the ability to replay maps without having to go to a menu and select, or avoiding certain maps.

One thing that I noticed, in the HighSchool, I will stand in a lighted room with the Paramic out scanning the area. I place a lit candle on the desk. When I get back to the truck my sanity is low.
It would be cool if placed candles can provide a sanity buff... I have no clue how he would work it. If you were within four feet of the lit candle, your sanity should fall less quickly...

As far as I know candles are still broken in High school and some other maps, you can check psycho he did a video of where the candles work.
im so excited for more big changes, i think dk will add a ghost with orbs + fingies (i think that was the 2 evidence for polter right?) so u cant find polter with 2 anymore, and the next 2 maps are also probably gonna be a Mansion and an apartment building (in the trello)😮

High-key hoping one day they bring back the team member character doppelganger that is actually the ghost. I never got to witness it but it would be creepy af if it were made a rare event. The game got easier. Because the ghost follows voices now. You can have someone stand just outside the house and attract the ghost to a window or door. And everyone lives.

I really wish the Para Mic worked! As someone who is partially deaf I can’t rely on using my ears for sounds and that’s where the Para Mic would come in handy ☺️
The idea of the parabolic mic is really good and I think it has a lot of potential, sadly it's not very useful in the current patch
New content? Add more ghosts! Add more maps! Add more evidences and combinations of them. Then, I am totally satisfied.
Just be patient. The Developer is going on the right way by adjusting and balancing gameplay at first before thinking of new contents

IMO, the old system made more sense. What it meant is that, if a team of four goes in and 3 of them die - are viciously compelled to commit suicide by the will of a supernatural being - the last guy can't just take sanity pills and pretend they didn't just lose 3 lifelong friends. They're going to be shaken, just like in reality. Barely able to complete the mission.
If 2 people go to a haunted cabin and 1 watches the other strangle themself, he's not going to take a Xanax and go back inside, you know?
The new system is cleaner though, I suppose!

About sanity: Only after you explained how it used to work I understood what happened to me once. I was on bleasedale with some randoms and there was a revenant. So they died to it, and I took some pills to finish objectives and to take a picture of the ghost... I was so confused when it hunted and killed me when I was at 100% sanity...

Finally i can play Phasmophobia without any annoying things, such as truck door trolling, cant find contract that i want, but it will be only after 2-3 times and no ''Add ll" button. Ghost started to be much smarter than i was playing and just trolling him while he was trying to chase me.

personally had that infinite hunt thing while in vr... playspace mover allowed me to leave the building which made it finally stop hunting... yes cheated.. but it needed to be done lol. i was last one alive... so meh.
There is one safe spot they never fixed blesdale upstairs in one of the rooms where the table is if you go behind the table there is a safe spot
I still wonder why the dev wants the map in the truck to be upside down? It's really irritating when it comes to telling where to go and you, well, need to say "it's the left wing" yeah it's big brain time here, the left in left me or the left in left map?

Been on and off the beta for a few months now - And the biggest issue that's never been addressed by DK are the Unity crashes mid-game/as the truck opens for both the base-game and the beta. This is concerning only because it seems there's more than enough people who have addressed this problem and there's not even been a suggestion or an attempt to fix this from DK. I love the game, I really do - I'm just under lvl 2000, and I'd be a lot higher if it wasn't for the Unity Crashes. They really make a person not want to keep playing.
I have to agree with you. I've been playing beta for ages. There are some bugs that he claims had been fixed months ago yet they clearly haven't as I and many, many others have experienced and reported them. They've just been swept under the rug. It's getting to the point now where I don't want to play because of the bugs. Even bugs that have cropped up in the last few weeks that we've all reported but for some reason he's ignored them and released to stable. The mind boggles.
@@cubeyuk - Indeed. I can deal with the smaller bugs, no worries - Most of the fixes have been welcoming, some of them have been a bit interesting, but when you have an issue as big as crashing it should be top priority. I really want to see this game grow and not have people demanding a refund because they just can't play it.

@@TheDorkEnygma Or under a bed, in a closet, anything to burst out of and scare the player. Could interact with some ghosts in some way maybe(scare them, attract them, see them, run away from them). Also sometimes the cat should be friendly and sit on the table, bed, or garage car and watch the crew work. Good ambience.
