Why would you waste your money on these bags. After a while you realize it’s not what you thought and it’s just a bag. The market is flooded with these bags. Their not exclusive especially in certain countries they are a dime a dozen

I don't usually comment but I felt the need to after watching today's video. The Birkin in craie is absolutely stunning! I love your choice of colour on the inside. It would be something I would do. The colour combination is both elegant and sophisticated. I, also, absolutely love the red fringe jacket! Another stunning piece due to the beautiful red colour and embellishments! So unique. It’s good for summer or winter, craie is one of my favorite colours and I love the color Craie more on a Birkin than a Kelly.
You can have several special orders with Hermès , I have four now and I have a special order every 2 years.
My favorite special order is my Birkin 30 black with yellow and palladium hardware.

I find that if you just pull the straps forward, the bag lines up perfectly and slides into the little round closure which makes it quick to close
ALC actually happens twice a year, first round takes place jan - april and the second round take place oct - dec :)

@@juliam.4569 Congratulations! I was so nervous at first, but it goes with everything! It's an amazing chameleon gray-nude and the gold hardware warms it up. Beautiful with navy or black. Also great with pink, pale blue and other pastels like lilac. I am careful and I've had no color transfer. I probably wouldn't rub it around on my brand new jeans though! haha

Love the choice of colours. I too would stay simple if I was ever able to do a special order. No need to go crazy unless you want to. Just a note though on delivery ..... I was lucky enough to get my wish list item a couple of weeks ago and it too came via special courier who phoned beforehand to ensure I was in and I had to show ID. The parcel was security sealed - all very exciting! So think that service is for the more expensive bags.
Very interesting as I didn’t get this with my last two Hermes bags. They just came via normal courier x

I would def go for a classic colour if I do get the chance as it’s a way to ensure you get the bag of your dreams. I am not as keen when it has different colour sides or handles so I would do what you did and go for maybe a contrast interior and leave it at that. Stunning colour Claire! You’ve got good taste!

Few weeks back i was in the Hermes boutique in Brussels (I'm from Belgium) and i wanted a twilly (first i was looking on the site and on vc, so i could compair the prizes new v preowned, and bc i'm a big pro sustainablity )and even the Twilly is a bit cheaper new then preowned (160€ in boutique v +- 150€ preowned thats without extra for extra valuation and transport)
And the sw she took a Kelly for twil the twilly so i could see how the print came out. And i asked is this a 32 or .. no its a 28 and to my surprise i found it a big bag

I’m not a fringe person but that’s the exception it’s gorgeous and I know you love the wonderful Dolly Parton so I can see the influence in the jacket. The red really suits you too. Such a beautiful bag Claire, congratulations! btw, they do the ALC twice per year, however the colors available remain the same. I also received my ALC during lockdown, and they were super strict in regards to the shipping.

love it! congrats! to my knowledge, fendi and LV also do something similar. For fendi you do pay extra though - and maybe for LV too. For Hermes you pay so much $$$ that I understand why they don't. just my thoughts.
