10 hcp, I demo'd the SIM, against my gamer 410 LST. When you hit the SIM well it's great, but when you miss it a bit the misses are more way more disastrous than with the Ping.
I got the ping G410 plus , with stiff Tour 65 shaft - swing speed 114mph but prefer the feel of tour s rather than x flex. Very comfortable driver . I could hit further with SIM and Mavric but didn’t get enough feedback from the strikes . I’m 1hcp
Great vid fella, I tried the TM SIM drivers and could not get on with them, never felt like I was in control of the club, it was probably just me but it just didn’t feel right.
yeah i have to agree with you. i had the SIM and now i have the SIM max and i cant hit either of them. they seem to wanna fade right on me. even slice. not sure if i like the twist face design.
Me and my buddy go head to head with these drivers. Im about a 10 handicap, he is about a 15. He uses the Sim, i use the Ping. Gotta say, they go hand and hand, but when he misses his drive, his shot is terrible. Usually and massive hook with top spin that divesinto the ground. When u miss with the ping, u still usually find your ball. But i will say, when u connect with the Sim, she goes a loomg way. Me and him both average around a 315-320 yd drive, but he has his over 360 with the Sim. Ping feels like a more consistent, where as Sim is a rsik and reward type driver. Both amazing though. Would recommend both of them
You guys hit 315-320? You should both below single handicaps all day. Don't worry about your drivers. Work on your putting and chipping. I hit my drive about 230 and have a 10 handicap in the spring usually 8-9 by the end of the season.
@@markleach2870 hitting the ball far is nice but our misses are so penalizing. Having said that, i have focused 80% of my time on chipping and irons. Definately a whole new animal to tackle. Loving it tho! And 8-9 handicap is great bro! Congrats
Great video. It makes it very interesting when you use an actual golf hole. Especially one as dramatic as the 18th at Pebble Beach. I want to be friends.
How can you complain about straight and long for SIm? I’m sticking to my sim all day. I love the muted sound and look. Hands down the best driver out there.

Bottom line: SIM driver is longer, but the Ping is more forgiving. Depending on your game level, one of these two drivers are an excellent choice.
4:05 “Probably took too much off that one “ I agree. Like the setup and review
😂😂 need to hit it longer haha !!

Great video I want the putter
I'm actually using the G410. It's just so forgiving on strikes that aren't quite perfect.

Thanks so much ! Glad you enjoyed
Ping for me. Far better feel and distance on off strikes.
SIM should be going up against the LST version. Ping G410 LST is as good as anything out there. It's a beast with the aftermarket Ventus shaft.

I’m not complaining 2 fantastic drivers !!
I'm gaming the G410 its probably the best driver I've ever had, would be interested to test against the G425 when its out.....😊👍
Interesting video. I thought there would be major difference in spin numbers.
Very interesting isn’t it !
Ping 410 plus Or Lst? What shaft??
Well done Tom,we are friends😁
I should hope the taylormade is good now ted has tucked me up for a set lol 😂😂😂
😂😂 both are great drivers tbf mate
