Sandals Montego Bay All Inclusive Resort | Full Tour | Rooms, Wedding Venues, Food, & Activities!

- Опубліковано 14 січ 2020
- Welcome to Sandals Montego Bay! We are over the moon excited with the opportunity to tour this property and to show you what Sandals Resorts have to offer! We are currently sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas and have made port in Falmouth Jamaica! Today we have a day pass to receive entry at this resort. A day pass gives you all the inclusions of a typical overnight guest (only exception is that you do not have a room to go to)! As travel agents, we received our day pass complimentary in order to learn more about this product that we sell and to go on a tour with a Sandals Representative! If you would like to experience Sandals for the day, your are able to purchase a day pass at any Sandals Resort (price varies by location). Sandal Montego Bay is the very first and original Sandals location that opened in 1981 and has know expanded to 15 locations peppered all across the Caribbean! This Montego Bay Resort is found directly next to the Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) and another Sandals Resort, Royal Caribbean (which you may visit via free transfer when you are staying at Sandals Montego Bay and vice versa). While here, we were able to walk and tour the entire property to see the pools, beaches, bars, restaurants, sports activities, water activities, transfer boats, wedding locations, and more! Once on our tour we were able to go inside some of the different room types, and the camera does not do them justice! The only thing more beautiful and luxurious than the suites is the breathtaking views outside on the patio/balcony! There are so many different room types that include a mismatch of many different desirable amenities such as Swim-Up Pools, Tranquility Soaking Tubs, Butler Services, Beachfront access, and so much more! One of the most wonderful aspects of Sandals is no matter what room category you book, it is a fully all inclusive experience! Food, drinks, activities…I mean everything is included! The only exceptions include excursions, SCUBA certification (if you do not already have), and Spa Treatments. Everything else is there for the taking! It was only a single day for us but we had a fantastic experience at Sandals Montego Bay! If you are interested in planning a wedding, honeymoon, or just a relaxing vacation at any Sandals Resort locations, we would love to assist you with the booking! Our services are completely complimentary, so please contact us via the travel agent information located at the end of this video! We hope you enjoyed this tour and thanks for watching! Happy Travels! :)

Happy Travels!
@@HoffmanHappyTravels oh right lmaooo
You guys are awesome! Ive watched several of your videos. My wife and I are booked for Sandals Montego bay in June 2023! We can't wait!
Hi John! Thanks for watching! We hope you have a great time! 🤗❤️🛳
We got married here in a gazebo in April 2005 with a couple of awesome employees as our witnesses. We paid for extra wedding photos that the photographer took us all over the resort for. And they turned out great! It was a wonderful week that ended with a super fun beach party! The staff were incredible and we had an absolute blast! Be careful about leaving the resort to go to the markets or go with a group.
Hi angnclay! Wow that's wonderful! So glad you had such a fun and memorable stay! Thank you for watching and sharing your story! 🤗❤️🏝
Tan almost everywhere. Jan almost everywhere
Hi Lindsey! Thanks for watching!
Bravo! 👏🤣
Happy Travels!
Holy crap, lol! When I was there in 1990,we had to take a bus, and it was more than 5 minutes. Not only that, they passed vehicles on the other side going up a hill and around a curve! Scared the crap out of me! 😂 I think we were in the beach front rooms. I remember the room number, 711. I remember the bb court, the swim up bar not far from the hot tub. So much has changed! Lol, the over water gazebos used to be more private! Omg, the swim up bar is still there! Do they still have the peacock and peahen free roaming? The best was the cataraman boat, snorkeling, drinking, and riding the waves on the rope loung, and the trip to Duns River Falls! Oh, and the special dinner upstairs with the ackee and salt fish! Lol, that Cricket Bar used to be a dance club I think.
Hi 5C2K! Thanks for watching!
Wow, sounds it like it used to be very different, but still a great time! We did not see any peacocks or peahens, just cats. Maybe it’s time for a return visit! :)
Happy Travels!
Best review of a Sandals I’ve ever seen, you even told us about towel locations. I have been to Sandals 4 times I never considered this one because of the close proximity to the airport, I will be putting this on my list because of your review. Right now I’m scheduled to go to Sandals Royal Bahamian in December. Keep up the great reviews.
Hi Sharon! Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We’re glad you enjoyed the video! Be sure to stay tuned, as we have videos like this one coming up for Sandals Grande Antigua and Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia! Also, feel free to reach out to us if we can ever assist you with booking your Sandals vacation! Our services are always complimentary!
We hope you have a great time at Royal Bahamian! :)
Happy Travels!

Hi Carl! Thanks for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
Yeah, we actually found that out right after we made this video. Thanks for the insight all the same! :)

Hi Stefanae! Thanks for watching!
Awesome, we’re glad to hear it! We definitely enjoyed our time there! :)

I am loving these long form videos, i just found you today. As a seasoned Sandals visitor, your vidoes are really great, in the playlist so far we have not visited La Toc, it seemed too big but I think you've changed my mind. Thankyou for the videos and please keep them coming, hopefully you get to experience more Sandals in a 'long form stay' in the future!
Hi Jason! Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We can’t wait to share even more Sandals/Beaches adventures with everyone! :)
Happy Travels!
Thanks for the video- always wanted to see what a Sandals is like! Can you all make a video about your Disney wedding?
Hi Whitlee! Thanks for watching!
That’s great, hopefully you liked what you saw! As for the Disney Wedding, it’s been several years since our ceremony, so prices and procedures have probably changed greatly. However, it’s something we might visit doing in the future once we’ve done enough research on the current numbers! :)
Happy Travels!
why dont u take a trip here n see
Beautiful 😎. I always wanted to see what an all inclusive was like ❤️
Hi Sue! Thanks for watching!
We’re glad you got to see it! Stay tuned because we actually might have a couple more of these coming very soon! :)
Happy Travels!
Love it I want to go there right away
Hi Kywona! Yes! We love Sandals too! If you want any assistance with booking, we are travel agents and would love to help! Our services are completely free to you! Here is our travel agent info: Matt.Hoffman@CruisePlanners.com (386) 530-2773. Thanks for watching and Happy Travels! 🤗
🤗thanks
But I won't be going yet I am not sure and I love in Jamaica 😁
I mean I wont be going yet and I live in Jamaica 😁
11:50 It's not a new room type. That cottage is one of four privately owned cottages on the resort. It's owned by a charming but eccentric millionaire who spends half the year at the resort. He designed and built it himself. He lives in the top floor. The other rooms are available for rent and are very lovely in a fairy cottage kind of way.
14:34 Cottage 16 the "swanky" one you mentioned is swanky for a reason, it's the owner's cottage. He or some of his family members stay there a few days every year when they're in town.
Butch"s the steak place is named after the owner.....well at least his nickname - Butch. That's what everyone in the island calls him.
Interesting you saw room 1813. That is the Warren Cottage, another of the four private cottages. Virigina Warren the owner gave 250,000 dollars towards the building of the wedding chapel if it would be named after her late husband Frank and consecrated as a Catholic Chapel. That's why they have Catholic services there.
The first wedding to take place in the chapel was actually an employee's. A former GM back in 1997.
Fantastic review by the way. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Hi Edric! Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We learned about Butch’s nickname right after we made this video, haha! Thanks for all of the other information though, really interesting stuff! :)
Happy Travels!
@@HoffmanHappyTravels No worries. It was interesting to see all the changes.
Incidentally, here's another bit of Sandals trivia which many people including the employees don't know is that Butch's nickname comes from the fact that he was a very large baby and someone said how butch he looked as a joke and the nickname stuck.
Although Sandals Montego Bay was the first to open under the name Sandals, it is actually a much, much older hotel originally called Bay Roc going all the way back to the 1950s. When Butch took it and over in 1980 along with Carlyle on the Bay (which is now called Sandals Inn) he re-branded it Sandals. Since it was one of the early all inclusives and the concept hadn't yet taken off they caused a bit of a sensation when their first advertisement said "Sandals, that's all you need" leading some to think it was a hotel for nudists not an all inclusive where everything was available.
Back in those days when smoking was still common (remember when airplanes had ashtrays in the armrests) cigarettes were also included you just needed to tell the gift shop your room number.
Haven't been back there in ages since i moved to the far east. Do they still have the highest number of repeat guests? There was one couple also named Warren (no relation to Virginia) who had been to Sandals Montego Bay (and Sandals Montego Bay alone) over 60 plus times.
looking forward to more of your videos
That place looks really good. And the food looked good. You should go to Hilton Waikoloa Resort. They were cats everywhere.
Hi Dawn! Thanks for watching!
Yes, it was a lovely place, and we really enjoyed it! Cats everywhere you say? I’m booking it right now! :)
Happy Travels!
I put a deposit on this resort but on the fence on this or Secrets . I heard this is the party resort out of all the Sandals but it seems pretty calm . I love that Latitudes over the water gazebo bar!
Hi Nikki! Thanks for watching!
It was definitely super quiet while we there (but not stuffy!), but that was only during the day, and not at night which may have made a difference. Whatever you decide to do, we hope you have a great time! :)
Happy Travels!
Awesome tour! Thanks y’all
Did you get to find out approximately how much a day pass is?
Thanks Parrysh! We’re so glad you enjoyed it! Yes! According to Sandal’s website these are the prices :
Sandals Montego Bay Day Pass Price:
(Bought on Property)
DAY PASS
$125.00
EVENING PASS
$140.00
FULL DAY PASS
$240.00
As always thanks for watching! :)
@Hoffman Happy Travels did the restaurants have anything special setup for certain allergies? Like Gluten or peanuts or shellfish?
Hi Bleep86! Thanks for watching!
We’re not sure what options they did have for allergies, since we don’t have any, but they did ask us! They’re usually able to make accommodations in some way. :)
Happy Travels!
Thanks for sharing can you do a tour of the sandals ochi resort and include the romeo and juliet suite would love to get feed back
Hi Ronny! Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately, we don’t live in Jamaica, so we’re only able to access Sandals Resorts there when we travel. Currently, we don’t have any plans to travel back to Jamaica, but hopefully one day we will return and be able to share the Ochi location with you and everyone else! Stay tuned though, as we will have tours of Sandals Grande Antigua and Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia coming up soon! :)
Happy Travels!
love the info but I could not hear the girl talking you talked low but I thought you guys were at RC but you are at Montego which is 5 minutes away thanks for the info
Thank you. It is beautiful. Hopefully some day.
Hi GSD! Thanks for watching!
Hopefully! You should definitely check it out, and we’d be happy to assist you with it whenever you do decide to go! :)
Happy Travels!
I don’t mean this is a bad way but... where are all the guest. Is that how is Usually is? It seem dead I’m not sure if you were out very early in the morning
Hi MrScucc17! Thanks for watching!
We’re not sure where everyone was, but we know the resort was at 90+% occupancy when we visited. Our visit began in the morning and continued through the afternoon. :)
Happy Travels!
@@HoffmanHappyTravels thanks! Going in December. Very excited
Hey guys, awesome video, thank you very much! I was suppose to be there today, but since the resort closed down I had to reschedule to July. I initially had a B1B category room but in July that wasn’t available and Sandals extended a courtesy and changed it to a OBT room. Would you happen to know which is better? Thanks in advance.
Hi Rob! Thanks for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We’re sorry to hear about your trip! So it looks like you’re going from a Beachfront Super Luxe One Bedroom Butler Suite with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub and moving to a Beachfront One Bedroom Butler Suite with Tranquility Soaking Tub. The rooms are decently similar, but the B1B is pricier, and would often be considered the better room.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, or if we can be of assistance with booking Sandals or any other future journeys! :)
Happy Travels!
Hoffman Happy Travels thank you very much, that’s exactly what I figured! It’s always nice to get what you initially paid for, but I’ll keep a look out if that room becomes available during that week! The issue is I’m 50/50 if I should keep the room the gave me now or book later on to obtain the B1B again. Well thanks again for everything, and God bless! 🙏🏽
Jamaica is beautiful!
Hi Jahmoy! Thanks for watching!
Yes, it really is! :)
Happy Travels!
Great video! I see published 1.15, when were you there? Looks pretty empty.
Hi there! Thanks for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We were there on November 13th, and the resort was at 91% occupancy. :)
Happy Travels!
Video is awesome! We wondered about this very place. We have stayed at Secrets Montego Bay. It looked very uncrowded for 91% full. Was it just that early?
Hi CashMopar! Thanks for watching and for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
We’re not sure about the crowds, but we can tell you that we were there from about 9AM until 2PM, and not once did it ever seem close to crowded. It’s certainly possible that it picked up later after we left, though! :)
Happy Travels!
We were looking to go for a vacation this year. How often and how much are you aloud to eat at the restaurants?
Hi there! Thanks for watching!
There are no limits on the restaurants, aside from the few that require a reservation. Just bear in mind that the different restaurants have different operating hours, but as long as they’re open, you should be good to go! Please let us know if you have any other questions, or if we can be of any assistance with booking your trip! Feel free to shoot me an email to discuss particulars! - Matt.Hoffman@CruisePlanners.com
Happy Travels! :)
Is it cheaper to book through an agent then through the main website?
It’s possible that it would be cheaper/we might have additional promotions, it just depends on the time of travel and the details. I can promise you that it won’t be a single cent more, though! We’d also be available directly to you to answer any questions you may have, and act as a liaison between you and the resort. :)
Okay, I’m going to send you an email right now.
Blackops1776 yu can eat as much as u want
Thank u
Hi Taeron! Thanks for watching! :)
Happy Travels!
What is the best month to go??
Hi Dancer Shorite! In terms of being less busy, off season is the time to go, January-February or September-October. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🏝
