They really need to make that a priority. Get Hull the ball at the arc until opposing teams commit to stopping her (which will be REALLLY hard because teams have to double up on Clark).

It's not a case of passing the ball to a specific player - cough, Reese - but the player who has the best chance of making the play.
The FEVER are well on the way to being a team where that can be almost any of their players, at any time, from any position.
Some teams have depth, some width, some rare ones with both - and they're getting there.
Of course, the test will be what happens if, for some reason, CC isn't able to take to the court - how they'll work around that and work together without her leadership? I think they'll be fine, especially if they're smart and are practicing for that already.

CC and Mitchell have been mostly 20+ shooters since returning from the Olympic break. Boston is getting back into that zone as well. If the three of them can keep that going without taking each other's points down, that's formidable. Lexi getting her points into +10 consistently is just more fuel to the Fever fire. She's becoming quite reliable for 3's which is fun to watch.
All that happened because Cristy Sides decided to leave Caitlin alone and will continue to happen if Sides will continue to leave well enough alone. Sides ever since she won the coach of the year seems to think she is a good coach and want to go back micromanaging Caitlin again, I think bad times for the Fever are coming again, unless someone gives a wallop to Sides to get her back to reality.
They have got to get more paint points and rebounding from Smith and Fenbagle. When the guards miss shots, it is one and done. Lynx, Aces and Liberty rebound the heck out of missed shots (Dream do too).

Lexie needs to get more touches and to pull up when she has even a slight opening! Clark, Mitchell, and Boston is an awesome trio! Sides needs to get with the program! Speed is what kills and she has the players to do it!

The effort they are making is epic. I have seen Hull slammed to the hardwood, and jump back up like nothing happened. Aliyah Boston will not be denied, in the paint. Kelsey Mitchell is all purpose, points from anywhere on the court. Go Fever!
Of the many Fever games I've seen, Fever needs to fix their defense and defensive rebound, before going into the Play-Off.

fever us lucky to have CLARK, kelsey b4 cc came is already a scorer but now shes with CC kelsey become a best scoring machine. and CC unlock the monster in lexie hull showing her capability to become a key player with her defense and shooting, and there's AB on the paint shes becoming more and more a solid player . with CAITLIN CLARK operating the floor ,FEVER in this coming year its not possible for this team to become a CHAMPIONSHIP thropy and i can't wait ..

Gosh I hope so. I followed Caitlin Clark from her days here in Iowa City and through her I fell in love with so many of the Indiana Fever team. Clark, Hull, Mitchell, Boston.. they are AWESOME.

I love this team. lexie is freaking awesome from head to toe. I love the way the team is growing in leaps and bounds. It seems everyone is stepping up big time and their enthusiasm is off the charts. I think a new dynasty is on the way. It may sound stupid, but I wish Lacie was right there with her.
One mark of a a great basketball player is when he/she improves the game of her/his team mates. And this is precisely what Caitlin Clark has been doing. From cellar dweller, she has brought the Fever to playoff contender, mainly because of her court vision and generalship.

Clark might have given us some insight when she said Hull's improvement may have coincided with the time they've been spending together. Connecting on and off court can't hurt, right?
As a serious player for over four decades, it's obvious to me what makes Ms. Hull a good all-around player; She's very coordinated, and she knows it. That's something which can make anyone very difficult for opponents to consistently deal with effectively. Because it's something that emboldens a player to attempt without hesitation whatever comes into their mind. (So too Ms. Mitchel it seems to me.)

I don't know who lost 8 games early this season. Maybe it was the owners,or the refs or the coaches, but the Indiana fever didn't lose nothing. That's the same Lexie ,Boston Mitchell and clark... You give fans expectations that are not reachable instead of just acknowledging what they have accomplished this year there is no way in hell they are going to win the championship that's asking too much of a team of players that are so young none of them have ever been in a playoff game next year they might come close but even when Michael Jordan the greatest player of all time did not come in the league and take his team to win the championship it was several years before they ever even excelled in the playoffs as a matter of fact until they got Scottie Pippen to go alongside Michael Jordan they didn't make the playoffs and there is no way anybody is even going to say to me that LeBron James is anywhere close to the basketball player that Michael Jordan was the only reason he has beat some of his records as he has played twice as many years Michael Steele holds the record for 12 First Team all offensive players 10 First Team all defensive players and has scored more points in the playoffs than anybody in history and LeBron James has played twice as many years so that means if LeBron James played the same amount of years as Michael Jordan he would not even come actually his name would not even be mentioned in the top five I would not swap Scottie Pippen for LeBron James actually there's quite a few players I wouldn't have traded for LeBron Larry Bird Allen Iverson and the list goes on because to be the greatest player to be considered one of the greatest players you have to play defense and that's one place Caitlin Clark needs to step her game up she needs to learn to squat down spread her arms out and play defense she plays in a stand-up position offense and defense she would be much quicker if someone would teach her how to squat and move Bend her knees and move she's a great player but think about how much greater a player she had if she had that great first move and you cannot get it with that stand-up position she plays with and you cannot get it with that stand up position she plays with on defense you have to step up to your player and you have to bend your knees and spread your arms anybody can blow by somebody with their arm straight up in the air and they are in a straight up position can I see so many girls in the WNBA play like that it's like they were never taught how to play defense Caitlin has gotten away with it because she is such a great ball handler and can get her shot off quick but just think how great she would be if she would develop that first grade crossover move in order to do that you have to have quickness like Kelsey Mitchell who I think is probably the best athlete in the WNBA I watched these other girls jump and they don't hardly have a vertical jump I watch Kelsey Mitchell jump and she jumps like a man I haven't seen anybody that has the vertical jump of Kelsey Mitchell or the speed of Kelsey Mitchell that's why she gets so many rebounds inside and that's why she can drive to the hole and shoot over these big girls she's only 5 ft 8 but I watched her embarrassed Brittney Griner 6 ft 9 the most useless 6 ft 9 person in the WNBA I do say person because I don't know if she's a man or a woman she must be a woman because her vertical jump isn't over about 2 to 3 inches at 6 ft 9 the ought to be able to feed you the ball inside and you slam it every time they give it to you you are so much taller than the other players but yet she is not a leading scorer she is not a leading rebounder actually there's nothing great about her especially for being 6 foot 9
Take caitlin out and the team isn't much.

Mmm I'm no basketball guru but I'm concerned the Fever is only just beating the lower level teams.
Because most of the games against the top tier teams were packed into the first month+half.
I love how Caitlin has done for her record rookie season add with her and the other three they are an incredible dynamic team one of the things I really like is the closeness that her and Lexie have become. I honestly think that Caitlin did a lot to bring this team together I think that the incredible talent has always been there and now this coach once she figures it all out and I think she finally has excuse me. She has a team that will not be dominated. 😊 Now on a sad note😢 I do have to say I am so disillusioned when I hear swoops. How pathetic how old how uncivilized.

I think we all know by now that Caitlin is the catalyst. This vid is really about how the other players, especially Mitchell, Hull and Aliyah Boston, have stepped up and are making big contributions to team success. Which is exactly what Caitlin's goal is...to elevate the entire team. It's not a diss to feature the other outstanding players this season.
