The mala was made wrapping around coconut so it came off when lifting it . due to weight it slipped off. So just released the coconuts in the river stream. All flowed away smoothly but one got stuck near the edge . I stood for a few mins to see if it would move, it didn’t so looked for a stick to push it. Then as I was going near a little down from slope to where it was stuck, it moved by itself and started flowing. I was afraid that I should be careful moving nearer as it may be deep and also it was secluded place and getting darker post sunset.

Thank you for the remedy. We here in the US do not usually get cocnuts with choti, so I had to take the tail less coconuts and tie it around with thread. But they come off. So, when I took it there, they came off while I was taking them from my bag right near the stream. I had to just leave them as-is into the water. The garland did not stay intact.. So, will it work? I did it within the first 15 mins after sunset though.
