Kashimo's fight against Sukuna was all thematic material and no spectacle- the opposite of what we want from visual media. We learn more about how lonely it is for people like Gojo, Sukuna, and Kashimo to be at the top with no rival, Sukuna mentors Kashimo on love, etc. buuuut, we wanted the spectacle, we wanted the fight choreography. Hopefully the anime expands upon the fight when it gets adapted... in like, 4-6 years or so.
He had a cool fight with hakari but god damn did he get wiped out quickly 😂
He killed 80 memebers before fighting haksri snd still didnt deem hakari a threat. Sukuna went all out on kashimo which means he was a problem. Hes the only person ive seen tank a full powered dismantled. This made sukuna do 1000 of them to kill em after knocking em off balanced.

If Kashimo had Reverse Cursed Technique and mastery over his CT, he would be extremely more stronger. Plus from Reverse Cursed Technique the problem of his cursed energy would be solved as in the form of reverse cursed energy.
I strongly believe that if Kashimo actually had RCT, he would be able output it like Sukuna, Yuta and Shoko. Imagine a reverse cursed energy amplified lightning strike, basically negs all cursed spirits in the verse because outputted reverse cursed energy can destroy cursed spirits pretty easily.
If Kashimo just had those 2 things he would have maybe actually won against Sukuna.

honestly base kashimo beats everyone aside from Gojo, Sukuna, and Hakari in base because nobody has good enough rct to outheal a lightning bolt to the face and he has hwb for domains
i agree with everything besides the getting absolutely blitzed by sukuna part, cuz he never really got "blitzed" even when sukuna used his cursed tool to literally blind kashimo and get him from behind, kashimo still reacted and blocked the initial hits that sukuna threw out, only then to get overwhelmed by 4 arms. he also kinda made questionable decisions with his attacks but whatever, gege didnt wanna give him much time to show off. but i do believe he beats the heavy hitters if he blitzes them with mba, which he is more than capable of doin before they activate their domain.
Well Sukuna also needed to transform because he knew he was probably gonna get jumped by all of the other sorcerers and its better to be revitalized instead of weakend. Also Hakari isn't the strongest heavy hitterm, The narrative backing solely points at Yuta. All the heavy hitters just have their special abilities like Makis HR, hakaris RCT, and Yutas copy and Rika.

Yuta would get cooked by kashimo, yuta himself states that hakari jackpot mode or “when he gets rialed up” hakari is stronger and kashimo in base no ct is on par if not beating hakari many times over he lost due to location let’s not forget that so a kashimo with his curse technique would destroy yuta kashimo has an answer for every single thing yuta can do domain simple domain and kashimo out scales him in speed strength yuta loses due to kashimo being able to disintegrate people with his ct rika gets one shot rct doesn’t matter as hakari who has 2grades above him in rct better than gojo better than sukuna who are much better than yuta was about to die many times over sukuna transformed bc of the lighting attack yuta simply has nothing to put him in the next echelon to the gojo sukuna level yuta is slower than jackpot hakari as well due to yuta natural having weak physicals so he uses cursed energy to amp speed like sukuna gojo but hakari has more cursed energy in jackpot so is naturally faster he was reacting to the return stroke of lightning, which is minimum Mach 255

Just because Mahoraga is a Shikigami requiring the ten shadows to summon does not mean we shouldn’t count him as he is still his own entity
Takaba is nowhere close to being stronger than Sukuna. If anything Sukuna is Takaba's complete counter because he would be absolutely terrified of the man's mere presence let alone be able to make jokes about it.
I would say that yuta beats kashimo, and it is also possible given the recent chapters that higuruma would beat him, as we know that kashino killed a ridicoulus amount of people in his era, and attempted to kill hakari and panda, which could probably result in a CT confiscation, which would be horrible for him.
But he is definetely top 5 strongest

Anti domain techniques doesn’t guarantee you winning against a domain user. We’ve never seen anyone apart from sukuna be able to do much when using an anti domain ability, and even then he still got effected and if not for megumi he would’ve lost

HWB is an anti domain technique that once activated, requires both hands to keep the hand sign for it to stay up and protect you from domains. FBE is a simple domain that once casted, attacks the sure hit of a domain expansion to lessen the effecta of the domain. It's reactive and doesn't require the user to maintain hand signs to keep it up... Basically...

Yuta did not speed blits kenjaku, the group made a plan to use comedian so kenjaku couldnt sense yuta, and then yuta sneek attacked kenjaku.

Kashimo no difs everyone below special grade in base with the exceptions of unranked fighters like hakari and toji. In amber beast the only people he’s losing to is Gojo and Sukuna. Ppl hype up yuki, and I am included, I genuinely think she’s stronger than kenjaku, and the only reason she lost was because the plan she made with tengan was flawed, and she wasn’t able to protect herself from his domain. However, base kashimo destroys her in physical combat, only losing to the black hole. MBA Kashimo destroys her, and the em waves destroys her body before she can even become a black hole. Anyone with a domain expansion isn’t inherently safe because he has hallow wicker basket. The only arguable case is mahito, but it’s very possible that MBA can beat him just by deleting his body since souls are tied to the bodies that they belong to as shown with Toji, Geto, and Megumi.
My guess would be base kashimo=Heavy hitters
Ct Kashimo= only weaker than sukuna and gojo
Yuki might still one shot him, like everybody else in the verse if she actually hits him clean in the head, but she wouldnt be able to touch him because hes too fast I would say hes the 3rd fastest char in the series right now 2nd being sukuna and 1st being gojo(due to Teleportation) movement wise I'd say gojo 2 sukuna 1 (anybody who thinks sukuna hasnt Gotten faster after regaining his original form is just stupid)

Some people forgot, that the main reason people put Kashimo as one of the strongest is because he can just one shot literally almost every character in the verse.

These people are the only people that can use RCT, (atleast right now that has been confirmed if I am not mistaken)

If Kashmio was skilled enough with rct i feel as if he would’ve given sukuna a run for his money since rct can reverse the effect of his cursed technique and I think he would’ve been the 3rd strongest in the verse surpassing the likes of yuta,yuki and geto/kenjaku (I’m pretty sure he has rct he is knows enough about RCT to know two surefire ways to kill a user of the technique and in his fight with hakari he gets punched into the ocean and spends a lot of time in there, before he then used electrolysis to make poison chlorine gas. He also raises the water temperature a lot and if you look closely he even begins to get hurt by the heat. Yet at the end of his fight he's still alive and none the worse for wear. That seems impossible without RCT)

Heian Era Sukuna is a fraud. Without Mahoraga, Sukuna loses to Gojo. Period. I’ve seen nothing, if you take away the “world cutter” he learned from Mahoraga, that Sukuna has done in Heian Era form that makes me believe he beats Gojo. Make that a video.
not at all. If sukuna didnt have mahoraga when he finally got hit by the domain from gojo he wouldve js transformed into heian era and used domain again. Gojo was already out of domains by then so he would be forced to defend. Heian era sukuna at this point has 4 arms and is much faster n stronger so he would stop gojo and spam domains till gojo was killed which would end in mid-high diff. The only reason he didnt do this is cause he js wanted to preserve his resources

Kashimo was the gojo of his era. At the end of his life he regretted not fighting kenjaku in his prime as then hed have actual fight. (Hed probably beat that kenjaku seeing as he doesnt have geto's body)

Ugh i dont know but he quickly rose up to my faves ranks, he was so cool, his fight with Hakari is so anticipated and his fight against Sukuna, albeit short (i think?), will probably be absolutely mad to witness.
Also liked how even reincarnated he kept the hair buns.
Kashimo isn’t a fraud in my eyes,just got done dirty.
He fought Hakari(The immortal) with zero hesitation and at the end Hakari admits he would have lost if they kept going.
He had a natural sure-hit attack without CT or a Domain Expansion. You can’t easily block his attacks (unless your sukuna or gojo) because his cursed energy naturally damages over time with a stun effect. He is smart and creative with his abilities (deadly gas from the ocean)
He was almost speed blitzing a weakened meguna (which even if meguna is weakened he is still a very dangerous powerhouse that only like 2% of the verse could even stand up too) and forced him to go full Form sukuna so he wouldn’t die.
Kashimo’s CT is effectively the 8th gates from Naruto and forced Sukuna to have to spam an entire wall of the (currently) strongest attack in the verse to end the fight quickly.
To me this shows kashimo may have not lasted long but he was no bum,simple got done dirty by GeGe like many others (cough cough gojo,yuki,and more
he was blitzing a 2hp meguna with no domain, weak rct and ce output (wich already means a drop in all stats, including speed) and less than half of his og CE pool. And then he was two tapped by a nerf Four arm Sukuna with mostly the same nerfs, only with a half assed heal to help

Last chapter it said cleave efficiency varied depending on the strength of his opponent. I know that doesn’t necessarily mean he felt the need to use the world cutting slashes for kashimo because of that. But if it does it kinda implies kashimos in or near gojos ballpark.
Does kashimos ct restore his flesh aswell like healing him? Bc then it could be the case that sukunas normal slashes wouldnt have worked or not worked that great. But on the other hand we dont know if sukuna used bisecting the world slash when he used his last attack against kashimo.

If you consider him using his CT and dying after killing his opponent a win still, then at most he's 3rd strongest, behind Sukuna and Gojo, although it's still debatable that he'd be able to deal with the likes of Kenjaku or Yuki due to his lack of RCT [At least he hasn't been shown having it], since one Uzumaki from Kenjaku or one punch from Yuki and he'd almost instantly be out. This is without mentioning the fact so many domains in the story would just destroy him due to his lack of A Domain / Domain Aplification / Simple Domain / HWB / FBE. We're sure he doesn't have a domain as he didn't even try expanding it against Hakari, and the others can be implied due to him not even attempting to use it VS Sukuna.

First on Kashimo vs Hakari:
Hakari is NOT at the same level as Kashimo. And pretty much everything on their fight proves it.
Kashimo could have easily won if he just stalled for time while Hakari was immortal, but he purposely decided to make things harder for himself by not doing so. Because Kashimo is actively looking for an exciting fight, and not particularly to win.
Hakari got incredibly lucky, even for him in his fight by avoiding death multiple times by hitting the jackpot. Without that he would have lost.
Even while Hakari was immortal Kashimo was dominating him. So Kashimo actively did everything to handicap himself and still dominated most of the fight.
Second on Sukuna vs Kashimo:
How do you wave away two clean hits from Kashimo to Sukuna is beyond me. "He got taken by suprise" Dude, Kashimo straight up run into him with a frontal attack. Sukuna had all the time in the world to react, he just couldn't. Kashimo was at least on hand to hand, on par with him.
If he had learned any of the other abilities/specifics he would of become a goat. If this guy was born in modern day jjk and gad been given the chance to learn any of the other specifics he would have became the strongest.
At best Kashimo can be 3rd in the verse, but idk how he would fair against Kenny who has a full open domain and Mahoraga who, if not one-shot and completely vaporised, would just adapt and body Kashimo. Definitely a Top 5 character though!

Kashimo is waaaaaay above these guys including hakari who made even sukunas 2nd go 100%. Sukuna got demolished in his megumi state which is weak. Kashimo did more damage in 3 punches and made sukuna run unlike go/jo. Kashimo had to fight the peak version of sukuna 1 on 1 while everyone else fought megumi. A half dead a half burnt sukuna didn't TAKE A NOSEBLEED AGAINST KASHIMO, show me the panel where sukuna is bleeding from kashimos punches AND HE NEVER RAN, in fact a half burnt meguna on 1 hp actually took his emp blasts to the face and laughed it off and that's when kashimo was in phantom beast mode
You can even see sukuna laughing after the punches and he even easily dodges phantom beast amber kashimo

Gojos purpose was to scare sukuna into transforming so they could jump down and help him. Gojo got demolished effortlessly so Kashimo had to make it happen. Sukuna was running from Kashimo, he never ran from gojo. He even let gojo train for a month just to die effortlessly ...

They already stated that kashimos body isn't at full power, he's basically going off one finger of himself. He was so desperate to fight sukuna he didn't revive the long way like sukuna and some others. Gojo couldn't tank a dismantle from the weakest version of that sukuna let alone a 20 finger heian era sukuna that Kashimo had to face. He never even used his cursed tool on gojo nor did his henchmen ever think to jump in and help him like they did to try and stop Kashimo.
