This is not the first xray brass player video I watched, and basically I don't argue about their value. My point was about the sound. But I get your point.

That’s a French horn on this X-ray I’ve never seen a mouthpiece like that and Bud did not play on that type of piece.

Look further down the video. There are a number of players on the xray. Bud is clearly marked. It is documented through Lew Hiigel's Doctoral thesis
