This is so helpful! Thank you for making this video! I am glad I came across it. QQ: How would someone with a USB mic (RODE NT-USB specifically) use this? Are we SOL and, therefore, need to buy a condenser microphone and an audio interface?
Good question! I'm happy to say you are not SOL in this scenario, thankfully! I just tested the iRig out with my Blue Yeti USB microphone through Garageband. So, you'd plug your mic into your computer and make sure it is recognized. You would still set up the iRig the same way. When selecting the input through whatever DAW you are using, you would make sure the input device is your USB microphone, instead of an audio interface (like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo for example). Hope this is just as helpful, and I'm glad that you found my video to be helpful as well. Wishing you the best of luck :)
Hi, I bought the iRig stream and I set it up just like you showed us, but I have no idea what happens, that after a minute or so, the audio disconnects for no reason, just like it happens to you with the piano, but in my case, I get no signal at all. Do you have any advice for this scenario?
This is the most thorough iRig stream tutorial I have found, thank you! What do you run your sound through before the Focusrite? Is it computer software? How do you get effects? Thanks!
Hi kayla its great.. need help here.. is possible to combine maono and rig stream? Then the music is came out laptop to make live stream in tiktok live?
Hi! First, wonderful video! I'm sitting here with 2 iRig devices and figuring out that yours is the one I need. Before I go back to the store and get another one...with this one...can I just record a video in TIKTOK, but not livestream. I'm not ready for that yet, LOL. I just want to record pieces of songs in real time and post it.
@@daSTARPlayer I’m glad it was wonderful for you. Yes, of course you can record in TikTok instead of going live! You don’t even have to do it directly in TikTok either. You can use your device’s camera app and it will work there as well ☺️
"Hi, I'm using a MacBook and Ableton Live. Do I need to change any settings for input/output? What should I set it to? I see some tutorials say I need to change it to be able to hear my voice." Thanks
If you're streaming through OBS via desktop/laptop, that is correct. But if you're using a mobile app like TikTok as I do (TikTok Live Studio isn't immediately available to all accounts), this would be an optimal option for streaming!
such a great simple breakdown. you are awesome thank you !!
You're so sweet Kayla. Thank you for your tutorial.
Nice explanation, thanks 🙏

Hi there! I am unfamiliar with Ableton, but I have never needed to change my i/o settings outside of my default through Protools.
Does it work in type c cable anroid phone or not..??
@@nawarajthapa8062 yes it does! It comes with the appropriate adapter for Android users :)
Yes, it does
Is it better then I Irig2?
@@giantjoe_ I have no knowledge or experience with the iRig2! I’ve only compared the iRig Stream to the Behringer UCA222.
She cheaping out on the adapter but has an expensive IEM and the U87 ai.
You can skip the iPhone. You should be able to do this all from the MacBook if you already have a scarlet
