WHAT A UNIQUE PLAYER, it´s like a playmaker neymar! I Always have heard of him but never saw how he is playing. OMFG. I´ve read this from a scouting website which i never heard from any player ( before he left PSG) : Simons’ skillset is unconventional, but it is becoming more common in this era. It is not quite a false nine role, rather for of a floating playmaker. In the UEFA Youth League in 2021/22, his starting position was clearly in the middle as his team’s lone striker, but he was essentially given total freedom to tuck in, drift wide, or play off the shoulder as he saw fit. The big question mark regarding Xavi Simons is how will he translate to senior football. He made a withdrawn forward role his own at under-19 level, but it’s difficult to see how he can do that in first-team football. He will have to adapt, again.
And... wow, how he adapted. Would trade for all Porto Wingers :)
hace años en video lo vi jugar desde niño y jugaba muy bien creo que se le suvio todo y penso que de adulto hiba hacer igual pero fue muy diferente a lo que pienso y ahora en el psv luego de salir del psg demuestra su capacidad con goles y madurez
El detalle es que su dt van nistelrooy lo aterrizo y él también puso de su parte en escuchar y mejorar. Ahora se nota los resultados y espero que siga por ese buen camino, ya que veo que se esfuerza mucho

@@andyvaroncc hay grandes diferencias , Simons era de la masía, y se habían invertido muchos recursos en él además de tiempo , y Neymar de haber vuelto, fue por petición. De Messi ,no por interés del club.

When he left Barcelona the Barca midfield was packed - it was DE JONG, Rakitic,Busquets, Arthur, Vidal,Coutinho and Rafinha so he wasn’t gonna get professional playing time.
He joined PSG in hopes for playing time cos at the time PSG only had Veratti,Gueye,Paredes and Sarabia ,so there was a chance for him to break in the first team. Unfortunately after he signed for PSG went on and signed Andre Harera and Danilo Pereira to increase depth in the midfield. Resulting in the same reason why he left Barca.
He saw a chance of playing PRO at PSG due to the lack of depth in the midfield but PSG signed more midfielders after his arrival. So I won’t say it’s just money or it was definitely money.

Difference between him and Gavi was that GAVI is a youngster who just happened to break in the first team without us knowing anything about him
Xavi Simmons was already famous and considered a future star years before his professional debut. He even had 2million followers on IG before he moved to PSG. People were anticipating a lot from him since he was already the legal age to play Pro Football and I’d say he knew he wasn’t gonna play Pro at Barca due to squad depth. That’s why I’d say he moved to PSG due to the lack of squad depth,but after his arrival, they increased it.
Gavi was a hidden talent who wasn’t famous.
Xavi Simmons was already a well known global talent with clout and all these expectations set for him.
One was patient and now plays for the BARCA 1st team
One believed he was ready and rushed the process and now plays for PSV.
Ita still early to say Gavi is better than Simmons. I still believe Simmons is still better ,he just made bad decisions.
@@maips1012 I am not comparing them. All I am saying is that by the age of 18-19 he would easily become a starter. And I think he could have known it, thinking the age of our starters back then. My point is that the main reason he left was the money psg offered him and not his future as an athlete. And at that age its the biggest mistake anyone can make.
To give him credits, his move to psv was the exact opposite: a smart move to make him a better footballer. If he doesnt rush his return to top clubs he can still have a great career, thanks to his psv move.
