‘Kelani Palama’ First staged in 1978, the drama is a social criticism of political manipulation and the ever widening gap between the poor and the rich produced and directed by R. R. Samarakone.
The original cast included veteran stars like Neil Alles, Ramya Wanigasekera, the late J.H.Jayawardane, Wickrama Bogoda, Menike Aththanayake, Rathnasiri Liyanagoda, Cyril Dharmawardane, Pathmini Divithurugama and Geetha Kanthi Jayakodi.
