Can't beat the British Smocks for all round versatility I agree. Looking forward to seeing you off grid. When and where were you at Scotland? All the best Bull
Very nice, Sky is Scotland's most beautiful island, I am doing the North Coast 500 in July, starting at Inverness, all the way around the coast west to East and finishing in Inverness.
Inverness is a nice town. I had my flights to Edinburgh and I took a bus from there to Inverness. Bus drive was about three to four hours. If you go there, be aware of the Lock Ness monster.

I was in the area between Inverness, Island of Skye and Lock Ness, Five sisters of Kintail. About five years ago.

Do you have any hiking gear other than army stuff?
I have some cooking sets and couple of tents. Almost all clothes are military / military grade.
Is this because they are better for your opinion or do you just like army gear?
Both
