My father loved classical music. When I was younger, I hated it and listen to rock and roll. However, as I get a little age and wisdom, I am drawn to classical music and it is uplifting, soothing, and for some reason I want to cry. Maybe because Dad is gone and I will be following him.....classical music is immortal....Heaven will be wonderful.

In mir fließt statt Blut klassische Musik, denk ich manchmal. Starker Drang zu Mozart, Beethoven, Händel, dem italienischen Barock. Ich erlebe z.B. Händel immer wie ein Kaleidoskop, in dem sich das Licht zu den herzlichsten Farben spaltet. Mozart. Seine Musik hat etwas Schwebendes, von ganz weit da oben, wie eine Feder. Don Giovanni: DIE Oper überhaupt, mein erklärter Liebling. Und Beethoven: Bodenständig, stark, bezwingend und dennoch oft seltsam berührend. Ihnen glückliches Erleben dieser Stücke von Ewigkeit. ALLES LIEBE
